EDIT: btw, Nick, I exited the TNA trade today with a 31% gain overall... I suspect we're headed for another dip and increased volatility.

I don't know, people are stupid. The Dow shot up today after the announcement. I think were in a sustained false rally. Government and banks are cooking the books and people will buy into it.

 

And in the next few years they'll probably keep quantitative easing and print a trillion or more.

 

The Dollar index dropped like a stone, while gold surged. And now we'll wait and see how China and other major Treasury holder react! This is going to be fun.

 

They announced another trillion in spending. Around 800 billion to buy more toxic assets and then 200 billion for some other thing...all in all today the fed announced around 1.25 trillion in spending! My head was spinning.

Then I heard AIG is going to keep the bonuses and just deduct the money from the next bailout! What a joke!
