How do you delete a background ?

how do you delete a background ?

Well, you cut out the background! DUH :laugh3:

Don't make fun of us Thalia, we're not all as talented as you:whip:

There must be a special tool ?

Sorry :wacky:

You mean in photoshop?

yes! whenever i try to do something like that in photoshop, it always keeps the background.

i can't find any way to actually cut into the layer..

help us less talented people, thalia! :P!

Well okay.

If you have one layer with your picture, make sure you have a new layer beneath it. This background layer should be the colour you want to you as your background (or it can be transparent).

Then go back to the layer above it, with your picture on it.

You can use different methods to get rid of the background.

You can either use the weradier.gif or these tools: welasso.gifwepolygon.gif.

I often use this one wepolygon.gif and cut along the motive. When you're done with cutting around your main object, you can just press the 'delete' key.

I suck at tutorials. If you want me to post a step by step picture, I can make one^^

Thanks Thalia ! :nice:

But... cutting around the object doesn't seem natural :\

Haha Christina !

I just don't know how she can erase the background just by cutting it

Wait!!:bigcry:
