Brad Lidge will have surgery Monday to repair loose body in right elbow. Flexor tendon will be evaluated. If tendon needs no repair, Lidge will be ready by spring training. If he does, he should be ready a short time after camp opens.

 

 

Scott Eyre will have loose bodies in left elbow removed Monday. Raul Ibanez will have sports hernia repaired Monday.

It’s not like I can’t root for a team. Ever since I got into baseball, I’ve always been a Houston Astros fan. I just can’t see them nearly as often as I’d like. I’ve only been to Minute Maid Park twice. The only good thing I can reflect on is just how much more special those experiences are, since they’re (at least now) so rare for me. :)
