6.3 is only a decent quake, but in a region like this, it can be very deadly. It seems the body count is now approaching 300, which is a bit scary knowing that earthquakes can be quite a bit more powerful than 6.3. No doubt there will be some rebuilding precautions, but it may take a while just to clear out the debris. Apparently the aftershocks have been nothing to scoff at and some more damage is still being done from them.

 

Even in tough economic times globally, we can at least rest assured knowing that we're still charitable people. ;)
