Right so all weekend I have been procrastinating on filling out my college apps. I've written about half of around over thirty essays, I can't seem to find the right topic. I know I need an essay that'll really wow the admissions officers, but everytime I sit down to write I get the ominous feeling that what I am writing is going to dictate my success or failure in life. I know they are looking for personality and sincerety in the them, and they want to find out about me....I know it should be so easy...but this is by far the most difficult essay I have ever had to write in my life!!!

 

Somebody please help me!

wow....i did that one year ago...i was thinkin all the time about what i should write.....coz as uve said...its gotta be wow......personal....unique......but then suddenly one day..i got the idea....and i knew that was it...so jus wait and be patient....once u know what to write about...it wont be too hard....... :)

 

p.s. i wasnt accepted to anyone of those schools i applied...but i know it wasnt due to my essay.....the nyu admissions officer even called me to tell me my essay was great....

don't stress about your essay. I applied to a bunch of selective-highly selective schools, and my essays were crap, I wrote them in an hour and didnt really even look at them twice, and I got into all of my schools except two , so your essay isnt really that big of a deal. Don't worry about it, no matter where you go, you make the best of the situation and you can always suceed if you try hard enough :) . Hope this helps

Gosh...i thought this was gonna last endlessly but thanks to cohe223 this thread is back on topic.....i mean that girl is asking for some advice and you guys jus go off topic without realizing it...i mean...im not saying going off-topic is shit...coz everyone does it.....but at least realize the thread title...it will be really great for oneulove to find 17 replies and actually jus 3 of them in response to her question.......
