The computer I was using is apparently an hour behind. I went by the computer time to time myself so I wouldn't be late for class.

Well, no, it doesn't annoy me. It's just that he's not the only Muse guy, so why refer to him as such? I mean, there's Matt, Chris, and Dom. If you say "the Muse guy," one could possibly mistake what you mean and think of a different person than what you're talking about.
