On another note, have you ever had fresh cloudberries?

haha that's funny i've just been graving for finnish squeaky cheese and cloudberry jam. I have eaten them fresh when some relatives have brought them from up north, but only for like 3 times I've had them fresh. it's usually jam, and that pretty rarely, too since it's quite expensive. But damn it's so good.

That sounds amazing. I have heard of squeaky cheese but have never tried it. Cloudberry jam is divine. IKEA carries it in their swedish grocery store there. I have heard that fresh, they are pretty sour.

 

I have also always wanted to try the strawberries in that part of the world too. Supposed to be so much sweeter. I had alpine strawberries once in Colorado. Sweetest thing ever.
