April 3, 201016 yr Author i finally got a ukulele, so now i'm practising picking and strumming techniques and am loving this little ( it's a soprano) thing a lot. neat site for tabs and chords ( e.g. beirut/ jonsí, belle and sebastian, etc.pp.) and anything related to ukes: http://ukulelehunt.com off to ceaseless fingerpicking, my ringfinger ( which i decided to use, though one apparently can do without) is not connected to my brain yet!
April 7, 201016 yr Author ^ there are quite many on the internet, actually. e.g. these ones http://ukulelehunt.com/tab-chords/tabs-genre/
October 1, 201114 yr Author Today I replaced the original strings of my Ukulele with the praised ones by Italian manufacture "Aquila" and this pimped my cheapish uke into something so much much better. Great haptic, awesome warm and complex sound. Highly recommended! For bored instrument geeks, here's a sweet film about the making of those strings. Amazing craftsmanship there. Aaah, I love such tiny manufactories. <3 [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_Cwe_pz0Uo]Aquila Strings - Vicenza, Italy - Factory Tour - Bosko & Honey's UKULELE SAFARI 2008 - YouTube[/ame] Are there any other uke-players here at all these days??
