£399 with a 3-year warranty thrown in as a freebie, I did manage to knock £70 off the asking price plus that 3-year warranty is 'valued' at £150.

I'm not very good with gaming, so if you think it's alright than it's alright.

Yeah, but you still know about computers..:p

Only for normal usage :P

6GB of ram, so I assume that be a 64bit system (for if it be 32bit 2gb shall be wasted), 1TB of hard-drive, good for porn.

No blu-ray drive :P (so on that point I win, cos my HP has a blu-ray burner :P)

64 bit indeed.......the graphics card is the king of the hill atm...

plus the core i7 is a quad core, can be overclocked to 4.2ghz.

But no blu-ray drive to play any games which might come out on blu-ray discs :P

That is easily added when i go to the shop to purchase it..:dozey: :p

Your just envious.......

My computer was just serviced to fix its ridiculous slowness, and it's now WORSE. I'm at the end of my rope, I don't know what to do anymore :bigcry:.

Download CC Cleaner

"CCleaner is a freeware system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. Additionally it contains a fully featured registry cleaner. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware! :) "

I've tried similar things before, and paid for them, and nothing has made the remotest bit of difference. Have you tried that before? Is it trustworthy?

Basically, I'm waiting for Windows 7 like a kid waits for Christmas. And I'm going Mac next, I don't care how much my dad complains :P.

I'll give that a try too.

It's free it's trustworthy and it does a good job at cleaning out some of the crap on your computer.

You used it yourself with no problems?

Last year I had to replace my old computer of five years. I was using it one Tuesday and it was working fine. Later in the day I go to use it again and all I got was a black screen. So I got a new one later that week, but had to wait till the following Tuesday to have it set up. It was an inconvenience because that week I wasn't able to do the work I had volunteered for on another forum I go on and I had to text someone from the site to ask her if either she or someone else could do the work for me.

Whats the real cool stuff that Windows 7 has?

I get a free upgrade to it, but I'm just wondering.

It comes with less bugs than vista...:P

Lol, well that's good. :P

My Vista has never really messed up on me.

Except programs stop responding pretty often, but no crashes or anything.

I think unless you are using your computer for gaming, there is no real reason to use anything other than Windows XP............cos Xp has a 4gb ram limit.

I learned that the hard way...Vista was fine for about 8 months for me after I got it, and then it started to basically shit in it's own house, and it gets worse and worse and more clogged with junk as time goes by. I stuck up for it for a long time, too, but now I'm just looking forward to Windows 7 hopefully fixing all the bugs...even though I don't really like the redesigned taskbar.

Well why not use XP then?

No problems on usage for me, apart for it deleting all my firefox cookies :P

LIES

It isn't XP which has the 4GB RAM limit, the limit is from 32bit computers, if your lucky enough to own a 64bit computer with XP Pro 64bit on, then the 4GB ram limit doesn't apply :)
