Prior to the live performances of Politik around 2002 or 2003 (see Glastonbury 2002 for an example) there is a synthesizer type instrument that plays an intro to the song...anybody know what notes/chords are being played?

I think its in the same Key as the song. It plays through the whole thing, kinda like the organ in Fix You

I haven't tested it out, but I remember someone saying it switched between chords C and Am before finishing with G.

no, it's some kind of synth string i guess, but it's not throughout the song, only beginning,chorus, bridge and end (which is almost the whole song :D)
