Famous Old Painter
1. Union - The Boxer Rebellion 2. To Lose My Life - White Lies 3. Merriweather Post Pavilion - Animal Collective 4. Invaders Must Die - The Prodigy 5. Battle For The Sun - Placebo Cant really be bothered doing the others. I haven't listened to much Australian music this year (though there are promising releases coming out) and there are far too many brilliant songs to go through. deaths_friend
why is it that whenever i started a thread only aussies respond to it. hope nobody was put off by my top 5 aussies albums. im not expecting everyone to make a list of their fave aussie albums of the year. heck if i cant reach 5 albums i highly doubt anyone else will. how many people have actually heard more than 5 albums from 2009? deaths_friend
alot of love for U2. ............. i know that not everyone listens to as much music as i (and some people on this forum) do. but i cant help but feel that the fact that neither coldplay nor radiohead have released an album this year and muse aren't releasing until september has something to do with everyone listening to fewer albums. have some people taken a little break from music this year? or is June a little early to start choosing the best albums from this year??
