Funny the Way It Is...

Featured Replies

Does anyone else see the striking similarities between the new Dave Matthews Band video for Funny the Way It Is and several Coldplay videos? They magnify Dave's mouth with a magnifying glass, just like in the Violet Hill video, and it's sped up, similar to the backwards playing of The Scientist. Not that they copied or anything, it's just interesting how ideas are reused and changed and built upon.

^Chris is better at singing backwards.

Or first came "Who Killed Amanda Palmer?" and then came that new Lady Gaga video...

I thought about that when I saw the magnifying glasses. Didn't think much of the sped-up motions though, that's used all the time.

And did you notice that the Come Back To Me~ David Cook video is very similar to Coldplay's ~ The Scientist!?
