July 8, 200917 yr Author Crests, I don't think you are very obvious on here. Hey, I am making a list of metaphors and what they mean so I can memorize them Because I don't know what they mean. But I think I know what "the grass is greener on the other side" means: If you are sitting in the grass and you look down, you can see the top of each blade of grass and the dirt in between. But if you look in the distance, you can see just layers of grass in front of eachother and no dirt, making it seem greener :D

July 9, 200917 yr Author That is really cool. How does it affect you I wonder? I can't be near amps for one thing, which makes it hard to go out. But I wear earplugs for that.
July 9, 200917 yr That is really cool. How does it affect you I wonder? I can't be near amps for one thing, which makes it hard to go out. But I wear earplugs for that. I trained myself to deal with it. I learned from other people how the act between other people on the street and how to deal with changes. It worked great for me and I just have to live with it. Some things I couldnt do 10 years ago: - Looking people straight in the eyes. - Asking people in a store for information - Calling someone with the phone - Dealing with emotions All those things have been changed alot. It's no problem for me now to look someone in the eyes in while asking someone in the store for information about a phone they are selling while I'm smiling! :)
July 9, 200917 yr Author Yay :D I see an occupational therapist observe people on the street, have been working VERY hard on my eye contact, doing research, etc.
July 9, 200917 yr Yay :D I see an occupational therapist observe people on the street, have been working VERY hard on my eye contact, doing research, etc. Indeed, but those people can only help you with how they think about it and what they know about it. Only poeple who HAVES it can help you the best because they KNOW where you are dealing with. That's how I think about therapy for it. Like looking in the eyes I learned it on a easy way. Just do it, even if you are scared for it or something just do! Don't think about it.. DO, DO and DO! That's how I learned it, by just doing it without thinking about it!
