Chris keeps reusing the same self-depreciating jokes in almost every show. :\

 

They were pretty funny the first time but... well. Idk.

 

I mean every time they did that cover of I'm A Beleiver he would go "now I'm in love" "oooOOOoo" "let's come on love" "oooOOOoo" "IN THE BACK ARE YOU IN LOVE?" "ROOOARRRRAAHAHGHHDSLFJ" "OVER THERE ARE YOU IN LOVE?" "AAHHHHWOOOOOOoooOOOOO" "WILL ARE YOU IN LOOVE?" "ooOOOoo" "GUY ARE YOU IN LOVE" "OOOoooOOO" "JONNY I KNOW YOU HATE SINGING BUT PLEASE JUST SAY THAT YOU'RE IN LOVE" "LOLSHAHAHA" "OOOooooOOO" etc.

 

I don't mean to sound like a Coldplay hater but it's getting kind of old. :(

Yeah, I was watching a bunch of those and I was surprised that he did the EXACT. SAME. THING.

I know you guys were tired of it. But It was one aspect of the show that was new for me. I loved it too. Remember, they aren't playing just for you, but everyone who paid the price of admition. For that he is playing what he thinks the best show will be.

Exactly. I know it sucks for some people who see the band multiple times (same setlist), but I'm all for giving the fans in every city the best show possible. I think the setlist is PERFECT. Got rid of Yes!, CSC, etc with better songs. I love how the show starts with LIT, VH, then Clocks, IMP, and Yellow back to back to back to get the crowd into the show early. I love the way CP manages their live show..very smart.
