Just read this interview with Spinal Tap guitarist, David St Hubbins:

 

"In the new DVD documentary, you say you don't like soft music much. What do you feel about new bands like Coldplay?

I just don't see how Coldplay know how one song has ended and another has begun. There's a sameness to them. They seem to be so quiet. Are they afraid of waking someone up, like the bassist?

 

It's not my thing. It's mostly girls that like them. I love girls, they drive the market. I just wish they hadn't driven it into a soft shoulder."
