just a random stupid question from a european kid: why do you americans always have those note pads with yellow paper that is so thin you basically cannot write anything on it with, say, a sharpie? [alrighty, they're environmentally friendly, but still... why yellow not grey?]

Legal pads! I don't know why they're yellow, but they come in white and pink too. I just tend to use yellow because it's more interesting :P. I used to use small legal pads a lot, and I still do use them for longer lists and stuff. It's just like scrap paper with lines for random notes and stuff...it doesn't really need to be thick :P.

Yeah! My mom brought home TONS of little mini ones from home, and I use mine for silly little notes or lists of books/movies/etc I want to remember.

I checked them out at Barnes and Noble and they are pretty cool. I wanted to get a Paris one, but since I'm only staying there for a couple of days and these notebooks are expensive, I decided against it for now. :P But they have lots of cities. I was introduced to these great things by Chelsea haha.

My London one is amazing, and it's only been partially used up til now. I can't wait to fill it up starting next month :wideeyed:.

When I get more money in the future, I'd stock up on them, haha. They are so expensive for such a little thing.

I have a X&Y used notebook, when I found the viva la vida ones I bought 2 so one is used and the other one is new :D

You got some good supermarkets in Chile then! They don't sell Coldplay notebooks here, to my dismay.
