what i didnt like about the performance being short was that all of the other performers got to perform forever and even do medleys and they had to cut the scientist short, especially the best part when he sings the ooooohhohhhh like mentioned before.

but, dont hate me for this but i thought coldplay werent going to win anything, i was definitely surprised that they won 3 out of 3 they definitely deserve it.

after waiting for almost the whole of the mtv vma's for coldplay to get on stage , i was supprised the Scientist was cut short ! did anyone else notice this or was it edited for the uk showing !!!

Yeah, you're right Chris!!! Coldplay at the VMA's was AWESOME!!! I agree though....it seemed to be cut a bit short...like they were running out of time.....beginning and end were cut off....The pre-show interviews were great....with their announcer Justin Timberlake! ...but hey...they won 3 awards!!!......they're phenomenal!....thanks for the link....

I dont think it was cut short, when people preform live, they change things a bit, and I guess that is what they did. I've watched it 5 times and I dont think it was cut short. Thats just me.

i didnt think it was a very good performance .. chris's voice was a bit rough i thought..
