The point is... Obama (in my opinion) was chosen in part because he was qualified... I dont think population picked him because just because he was black... That would be really stupid... What i meant with my first post was the fact that people make a big deal about him being the actual president and that he is black...

You'd be surprised. He got elected for two reasons:

 

A) Everyone hated George Bush, and thought McCain would be just as bad (In reality, Bush, Obama, and McCain are all the same).

 

B) He can talk smoothly and give good speeches that make people feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
