if I lose, I lose

Featured Replies

at least I am standing.

Do you think it's stupid to try something when you know you will lose? Or it won't work...? I felt this way yesterday... I never feel that way but I have felt rather desperate.... I'm ready to lose friendships or relationships or money or a job or a place to live so that I can have whatever it is that makes me happy... Does it make sense to go into a fight that you are pretty sure you will lose?

lately I've been losing a lot and all I learn is that I lose a lot :P kinda sucks.....

I guess I have to fail a MILLION times before I get anything done... if that is the case, so be it

this reminds me of when i had to read To Kill a Mockingbird, and they were all like, "true bravery is going in to something knowing that you'll lose" or something to that effect.

plus, if you never try then you'll never know.

You're correct. I was joking before, you should go for it, live life and don't look back.

I think I'll quote Oasis "And then dance if you want to dance

Please brother take a chance

You know they're gonna go

Which way they wanna go

All we know is that we don't know --

How it's gonna be

Please brother let it be

Life on the other hand won't make us understand

We're all part of the masterplan "

I say go for it, learn something new about yourself and have some fun.

learn something new about myself :P

I've learned too much about myself... When I am too self conscious/self centered... things get worse... I want to try even if I fail, because I can find the truth about other people

Well who is to say you will always fail? I think it makes you a stronger person to go out on a limb. A lot of people don't have the balls to try.

at least I am standing.

I was going to say something but I think it's best not to..

:inquisitive:

That I'm a bitch??? But we've always known that!:chinese:

Eric may I ask if there is something specific you're wanting to do?

yes, he wants to say that I'm a bitch:P

I'm just kidding people! Calm down!:P

How was today, Eric?

I think it depends..

if there is still a chance left that you can win the fight then you can at least try it (but I think "to try" is too weak here, because if you loose like everything then just to try is quite a risk,...ok then it depends on how much the things you will loose are worth....)

if you already know before trying that you will loose anyways then you shouldn't try it (if you consider the things that you would leave behind...)

(but you can actually never know without trying....:wacky:)

ok...tough question

it depends on the person you are...

if you want to take risks...then yes you should try it

oh gosh that was such an useless reply...

I say it's worth it. Like Josh said, for the experience. You may fall down a gajillion times but i think it's all worth it at the end. It can only make you stronger.

I usually try my best, even though I know I might not succeed. I always hope for the best to happen :)

Now that I come to think of it, my name actually means "hope" :)

I think this really makes sense..... after trying some impossible things... I need to change my method...

Maybe you need a new strategy and outlook on life and those "impossible" won't be so impossible....
