Oh sorry I didn't realize it was cool now to make fun of a day in which thousands of innocent people died.

It's crazy how immaturity kicks in out of nowhere.

I actually do care alot :uhoh:

I was at school about to watch a video with my fellow pupils. Was 10 at the time. The teacher switched on the tv and it was a BBC News special with BREAKING NEWS emblazoned across the screen whilst we watched images of the Pentagon burning. I wasn't aware of what the World Trade Centre was at the time and it made it more annoying because those idiots at BBC weren't showing us pictures of New York. We must have watched half an hour of the events before we got round to watching the video. It wasn't until I got home that day at 3.30pm that I realised how horrendous it looked. I knew it was a big big event but it went over all proportions on how big I thought it'd be. I'll never forget how my teacher said 'this is history you're watching here'. The rest of that afternoon I just watched and watched the TV. I was horrified and extremely angry. It was a realisation on my part of how evil evil can be. I'm astonished at how I'm typing this 8 years on as it didn't seem that long ago at all. I will never forget. Never.

I was 10 too, and I had no idea what the World Trade Centers were either.

For me watching Farenheit 9/11 made me realize of how true evil can be

You're right, Michael Moore is evil.

...But I'm guessing that's not what you meant. :p

Even though I was 4 I remember 9/11 perfectly. I was getting ready for my first day of preschool when my mom turned on the news during breakfast and we found out. My mom started freaking out and crying but since I was four I didn't really get it. She told me to keep watching and tell her anything else that happened. She called my dad (who worked as a cop near Jersey City) to see if he was okay, when he told her the towers collapsed. But the two things that I will always remember that scared the crap out of me was finding out about the plane crash in Pennsylvania. My family had just moved to a county with the same name in New Jersey and we were in a state of panic. All hell literally broke loose because we thought it landed near us. I also found out a few years ago my friend's dad was one of the victims. That day will always be part of my memory forever.
