What songs do you think will always be forever part of the Set List?

My List:

Clocks(for surrrre)

In My Place

Fix You(crowd favorite)

Yellow

Viva La Vida(now, at least, for their next tour)

Violet Hill

Politik

I was actually rather surprised that they cut Speed of Sound from their set list this time. Wonder why? Surprised that they included Green Eyes, actually, and omitted Trouble. I love Trouble! Why the omit?:\

lol @ viva la vida. So overplayed, but that is the song that will have Coldplay down in the annals of rock god history.

Yellow defo.

Hopefully In My Place and Politik FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER. Those are my favorites live. I love freakin In My Place live especially. Politik live sounds better than studio...its that good.

They should go back to X&Y and move on, and pretend Viva never existed.

Music is all about evolution. As much as I love classic Coldplay and was utterly shocked by Viva, it was refreshing. The outfits were a BIT MUCH, though...LOL. A little bit too theatrical.

i like the whole French Rev theme...being a history buff...and the songs were refreshing.

I like experimenting;)

X&Y was a nice experiment.

Viva was fail, almost made me hate them.

I'll be happy when this era ends and they finally release some GOOD material.

Let's be realistic, though...

they will never return to X&Y era. Viva threw them into a hurricane of success like never before. It's official: they are the biggest band of our century because of Viva. It won't be doubted...

Brian Eno brought them into a new direction...they wont be going back. Sadly.

Let's just wait and see.

I don't hate Viva. But I found it pretentious and theatrical.

It's becaus eof Eno that CP is always being compared to U2.

Coldplay is coldplay. not any other band. They are NOT the new beatles or new U@. they are just themselves. Leave them be.

Eno has pushed them in a new direction.

Again, didn't hate Viva but its leaning towards that whole "we are the biggest and best band in the world and we know what's good for the world so we will sprinke political and religious messages in our music" kind of feel to it. A la Bono and U2. Love U2, but that's the vibe I get..

I was not disagreeing with you...

Like I said..perfect word=THEATRICAL!

The outfits, even the expressions in their videos.

Yeah whats up with Gay-Z? They are kind of selling out, but I stick to my word when I say some of those songs on viva are gold. Its just the way they act that is peeving me. And their newbie fans...(lyk omgz love viva la vida)

dunno about the dork comment...hes always been a lovable dork.

WAIT...HE PRAISED GIRLS ALOUD. WTFFFF. NIGHT IS NOW RUINED.
