Imbraddo
I know it's becoming a little bit of a cliche but I really want to do it for a gig I have on Halloween night. What type of paint should I use?
Destrokk
I totally wanted to do that :) Just like Chris <3 I guess it needs to be a special kind of paint.
aniskywalker
Acrylic paints ;)
coldplay_is_louve.
You can get them at your local music store but they're super expensive. I suggest acrylic. You need to sand down the guitar too, so the paint doesn't chip. That means you'll need sealer. That, you can get at your local music store. :D
PianoRocker
Don't paint your guitar because Coldplay does it to, never do that! What if they next tour have guitars without paint? Are you removing it and destroy your beautiful guitar? :)
Coldplayplusjuanes
I agree! ....if you do something to your guitar you should make it original and something that will be unique to you only...as chris has done with his guitar :)
aniskywalker
You can also use self-adhesive foil - this paint, stick on the guitar and remove later ;)
PianoRocker
You know that you can't just paint a guitar? I changed my bass color once and you have to do alot more than just paint to keep it look good.
coldplay_is_louve.
I suggest Sharpie. Much easier and more fun to create an interesting design. ;)!
