Derren Brown: The Events

Featured Replies

Anybody else been watching them on channel 4?

They are brilliant

I've watched them all, and loved every one. I'm quite sad it's over now, but what a way to leave! Deliberately setting it up, to make it look like he was genuinely one out. He got everyone to feel that feeling he talked about at the very start of the latest episode. The gambling feeling.

A lot of people do believe that Derren was genuinely one out, but I'm not one of those people. I actually got a bit annoyed at loads of people saying things like "LOL HE fAAAAAAAILED" when to me it was quite obvious that he'd planned to "fail", and that was the genius of it.

Can't wait till I see him live next year.

From that final episode, he had planned to lose, and I bet he used his own money, not that blokes (who seriously has £5000 in a bank account which can be redrawn the same day and not notice it's gone missing?)

I'm sure that's not allowed anyway. Still, I don't want to look into it too much. It was the greatest piece of entertainment I've seen for quite a long time. He certainly knows how to make a show!

I know for the majority of banks, unless it's a large branch you have to order a day or 2 before if you want to redraw large amounts of cash.

The spilt-screen with the lottery was pretty nifty
