Non-Parlophone releases

Featured Replies

Do you have any releases from Coldplay which are not produced by Parlophone?

I have two: The Night Over London and God Put A Smile On Kentucky.

The Night Over London is awesome. It's produced by The Godfathers. It was recorded at Brixton Academy, London, on 16th June 2008. It also contains two bonus tracks from Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, 13th June 2008. The only weird thing about this CD is that God Put A Smile Upon Your Face is called God Put A Smile Upon MY Face and Death Will Never Conquer is called If I Should Fall From Grace With God..

God Put A Smile On Kentucky is also pretty good. It's produced by Red Devil. It was recorded on March 10 2003, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Do you have any of these or other Coldplay records that aren't produced by Parlophone? What do you think about them? Please share your thoughts :)

Well, in the US it's Capitol instead of Parlophone.

Those cd's you have are just bootlegs and/or live performances someone pulled off the internet, put it on a cd/dvd, made a nice cover (or just stole it) and sold it to make profit from.

Really? :stunned:

The packages look very 'original'.

And what about http://this?

Anyway, I'm still happy with these CD's.

And btw I'm still curious about your thoughts people!

It's still nice to have though, but it's not official or anything. :)

Link is not working.

The Brixton gig was broadcasted live on UK radio, I guess they got it from there.

It's not an official Coldplay release.

Yes, there are alot of good bootlegs that could've been a original CD! :D

as far as I know... the only 'NON Parlophone/Capitol' release is the Brothers & Sisters cd which was released on Fierce Panda. The others are bootlegs and stuff, but still nice to have. Sucks that someone sells this stuff to make profit off the band.... in true fan fashion, I am a firm believer of sharing is caring :nice: -like off a 'hub' or something. I'm not knocking your bootlegs.. save'em! They sound rare... but not they arent official unofficial if you know what I mean ;)

I've got Coldplay Live At The Hollywood Bowl (with Pour Me and an awesome Yellow) and Coldplay Live At Abbey Road (They actually didn't play Yellow!). Neither are official and EMI probably doesn't like it. One's Red Devil.

No yellow?! :o

I also have Brothers&Sisters btw. :)

And on the Brixton gig you can really hear that it was one of the first shows of the VLV tour, they have improved a lot since then.
