The Hardest Part... I'm incredibly curious. What's it "all about?" ;)

My view on coldplay lyrics in general (and what i absolutely love about them) is most of their songs can be interpreted in different ways for different moods.

What I believe The Hardest Part is about (for my current mood) is something along the line of having to let go of someone you don't particularly want to. And something like trying to find the silver lining and moving on but you just can't let go

That's my view :) Hopefully I haven't gone totally off what you're asking!

+1000000000 And that's what they seek too. They often explain that their lyrics are +/- abstract in order to let the audience put whatever they want behind.

And I think that's why they are so popular because you can make their songs your own. Their music become sthg personnal and therefore more moving. Anyway, that's how I feel it.
