Put some wheels on it so it looks like a wheelchair.

Because a half-naked drinking handicap looks a little better...right?

We have to think of something better ...

I didn't quite get what you meant, tbh. :disappointed: What's a Rollwagen? I don't even know my own language. :dizzy:

How was work? :nice:

hahahaha...I know that word from work....we use Rollwagen quite a lot there to transport pianos...omg I do not dare to explain what I meant because it was one really dirty thought-..:uhoh:

work was boring to be honest....all these people who usually go shopping on a saturday are on holidays I guess...:disappointed:

and now I feel sick because I have to play that song on the clarinet with my sisters in church tomorrow for my grandparents' golden wedding...I am afraid we will fuck it up...

how was your day?

I think I know what you mean now ... but I don't yet see the dirtyness.

Awww, that sucks. But the big Christmas run will come soon enough ...

You're playing the clarinet?! Cool. :nice: Well, I don't really believe you'll fuck it up, but even if you do your grandparents will appreciate every single second.

Quite boring ... had to correct an essay for uni, but I just watched my Muse DVD again.

ooooh well then you don't know what I mean hahah...:wacky:

oh yeah....I think the upcoming saturdays are going to be really busy...I wish christmas was over...

well I mainly play the saxophon and started playing the clarinet half a year ago...so that's why I don't feel as sure as playing the saxophon, because I've been playing the sax for 13 years now...I know they will appreciate it, but the church will be super full and we have to stand in front of all those people...:uhoh:

ah you are going to see Muse live, right? They will play in Cologne as well, but the tickets are so expensive....for me they are not worth that much money...

Okay ... maybe I don't want to know then.

Well, you have every right to be nervous, but if you're going there thinking you'll ruin it you probably will. I know it's hard to get over that feeling ... I have to fight with it a lot myself, but just trust yourself. That sounds cheesy.

You seem to be quite a talented musician.

Yes! Bought my ticket last minute on Tuesday and I can't wait for the concert.

I paid 56€ ... and honestly I'm completely broke now, and by completely I mean completely.

hehe well I playe dit again some minutes ago and tried another reed :wacky: and now it sounds ok and I don't feel that sick anymore....haha

oh thanks:blush:

I think I do not even realise that my whole life only consists of music...and I am so happy, because my band will probably meet again..

oooh I've just seen your concert will be in some days...awesome...:awesome:

haha and I know that problem of completely being broke....I think I was constantly broke between september 2007 and september 2008, because I went to uni back then....argh that was one of the worst things, because I couldn't find a job and I didn't know how to handle all this stuff.....I am glad I don't have this problem anymore and can buy many things a month that are not really necessary...like CDs, sheet music, etc etc....:D

That's great. Good luck tomorrow.

You have a band? :stunned:

I bought too many unnecessary things ... that's my main problem now. :uhoh2: I'm so glad that the train to Hamburg is free because of the semester ticket and that I can sleep at my aunt's house. So no more costs for me because of this concert ...

It's almost the end of the month, so I'll get money soon ... I just feel really bad for depending that much on my parents. I've gotta find a job on the fair or something. Sometimes being a student really sucks ...

weee thanks:wacko:

the band,....well we met twice to play together and we were so friggin good right from the start....our way of playing was in perfect harmony I think....we met on studivz and we knew which kind of music we wanted to make....but after the second time we had to stop playing due to place and time problem...

we could have said there is no sense in allt his, but obviously we all know that we could make a pretty good band, so we will meet again...

ah depending on your parents sucks...do they give you much money? I didn't really get money from my parents....except my Kindergeld...so, I had to pay the university fee on my own....that sucked so much...it was a reason why I quit uni....:disappointed:

That sounds so great. :nice: What kind of music are you making? A little jazzy?

If you have that certain "groove" (lol my English is all messed up today) you should definitely hang in there.

They give me a monthly amount and they pay the fees. I feel pretty bad for letting them pay, but there is no way I could manage paying those 700€ each semester.

I hate these fees. They don't make any sense at all. :disappointed: They just keep more and more young people away from uni.

And I honestly don't see any change in the quality of my university ... I wonder where all the money goes. :dozey:

we play some funk/latin/soul whatever stuff.....so pretty groovy....so far we have covered santana (we have a brilliant guitarist:blush:), Jamiroquai and Nils Landgren ( he has a funk band...)....and the moment we played Santana was so magical.....we were playing and playing and we couldn't stop....I looked at all those faces and thought "Damn we are good!"....

these fees suck so much....and they get more every year....I went to the uni in Bonn and they do definitely not know what to do with this money...esp. if you consider all these things they aren't allowed to use it for....:dozey:

it's a shame....they beg for better education in this country and make you pay for university...:wtf:

 That sounds so amazing! Makes me really wish I'd play an instrument myself. I bet it's amazing to just lose yourself in the music you're making.

Yup, the 500€ stay the same but the other amount gets more and more ... it's now more than 250€ ... :dozey:

Our beloved president installed a flat tv in the entry hall ... it was turned off most of the time and eventually they took it off again.

Officially they're not allowed to use the money to increase the number of students ... yet they're admitting more and more students every year. :dozey: Our lecture rooms are completely crowded and our teachers are stressed and over-worked.

I must admit that I am really happy I started making music at the age of 4....and I am even more happy if I can make others happy with it....and actually I think it's my only real talent...

oh that sounds amazing....it shows how useless this money is...I think they installed some pretty useful things in our uni, but they only costed not that much money...and I think the new Bachelor Master system doesn't make things any better....at least not in the Geisteswissenschaften(:wacky:)

Does it run in the family? :wacky:

I played the flute in school, but I was never really good, so I gave it up. :disappointed: I always wanted to play the violin ...

I should seriously do something bad to our president, once I graduated ... :wacky: He seems to be a dictator, nothing else.

They promised to improve the library ... didn't happen yet and probably never will. :dozey:

hehe....well my Dad is has NOTHING to do with music...but his brother has a band and his other brother played the drums....my mum always wanted to play an instrument, but they never had money for it...but if you consider my whole family we have many musicians....:D

ewwww.....the violin....the most difficult instrument you can play...I am actually quite prejudiced against those people who play it, because they often are arrogant, because they play such a difficult instrument...:dozey:

ah that sucks...:(

I didn't even know during my time at uni which decisions our president made...I think I wasn't even interested..:wacky:

That's a lot more than in my family. :wacky: I guess it's always easier, if you have parents who support you and "force" you a little to play an instrument.

Yeah, I know what you mean. :disappointed: I had a violin once, it was only borrowed and a friend of my mother gave me some lessons, but it takes a lot of time and patience to really play it.

Once I'm earning my own money I'll probably try to take some piano lessons. I just want to play something ... I don't know.

Well ... let me tell you that I'm studying on a smaller campus, not the main campus. The whole place is a huge building site and it's always loud and noisy during class ... except for the time when Mr. President gives a speech.

I don't even think they forced me...it was just...erm selbstverständlich that you went to musikalische Früherziehung at that age in our village...(haha sorry for my english...:wacky:)

so I started with a Glockenspiel then Blockflöte and then the Saxophon and now the clarinet...

I'd love to take piano lesson but I don't have money and space for a piano..:bigcry:

I think you should really try to play the piano...I think you can do so many things with this instrument....when there are people at our shop who can really play I'd love to start crying sometimes, because it sounds so beautiful....

ahhh I see....well if your president even gvies speeches that ounds like a man who must have a lot of influence there...:stunned:

Ah okay ... never heard of that before, to be honest. :uhoh2: But it does make sense.

You could start with a keyboard ... I know those things are probably pretty expensive too, but it takes less space than a piano ...

I'm going to try that someday, it's on my list. :wacky:

I always drool when I see Chris Martin or Matt Bellamy play the piano ... and they're not even the real "professionals", if you know what I mean.

Well ... word is that he even exmatriculated (?) a student who was openly speaking against him. It was even in the newspaper ...

I already have a Keyboard...I got it 11 years ago...I learned some songs to play on it, but a piano is something much more beautiful....the sound is so different....and the Tasten are also different...

well, I do not even want to be a professional player...I only want to play beautiful songs like the two you mentioned do...I taught myself some songs on the Keyboard and when I play them on a piano in our shop I can see that this is almost what I want....too bad I don't have a piano at home..:bigcry:

what the hell? e exmatriculated a student?Damn that is just sick.....and there can't be anything done about him?

Yes, that's true. The sound is far more ... hmm ... dreamy, I don't know, can't put my thoughts into words.

Someday ... it's never too late. Even if it takes 10 more years, someday you might actually have a beautiful piano and you can teach your children. :wacky: (God, I'm in cheesy mood tonight.)

I don't quite know what happened after that ... it's hard to find out. :dozey:
