I need LIF II chords! (electric)

Featured Replies

I need to cover LIT II for school, but we don't know what to do with the electric guitar. Our guitar player isn't very good, so we need simple chords which are not fast played. It doens't have to be exactly the same as that Jonny plays, but it has to sound right. Please help me :(

Omg I'm so stupid XD *hits herself*

The guitar in LiT is playing tremolo picking, but like you said the guitar player is not realy good.

You can play the standard chords but in a octave higher.

Use some effects but try to keep it in the background.

So, low volume and alot of reverb and a little bit of drive on it.

Let him/her play it in quarter notes but keep the attack low.

But ofcourse you can try the original way.. but for now I think this way is easier.

i suppose they will go like "huh? what the heck is he talking about?!" reading this :D

does he/she know how to play chords by name?|||||||||||||||||||EDIT|||||||||||||||||||||

well, they would be:

F#m

D

A

(last time it's F#m, D, A, E then back to A)

in the beginning, you could just play the A for the whole time, until half of the first verse, then you start with the other chords...

then, play them over the whole song or in the chorus play these:

F#m

D

C#

(last time it's going down: A,G#m,F#m, again E then A)

hope he/she's good enough to know when to play the chords....

oh, and keep the volume low, you hardly hear the guitar
