Alexa (right?): Being miserable. I'm used to being alone.

Mark: Yes I am. :)

Do you live in a small town or a big city, and if the former, what is your nearest big city?

Being alone is infinitely preferable to being with someone who makes you miserable.;)

I'm not with anyone.

The idea popped while watching House.

Emma: I could think of 10239102 things. I honestly don't know how to answer that. I guess right now, I'll say my first roller coaster ride is way up there on the list. I wouldn't have done it if my BFF didn't go with me, but after it was over, I totally wanted to do it again. :)

Mark: I live in a smaller town (30,000 people), although I know many towns in Texas that are much smaller. The biggest cities are Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. I believe Dallas is closest, but it's like, 3 hours away. The others are further away.

Have you ever met JR or "Dubya"?:P

Emma: Well, I'm in college (university) right now, and I'm majoring in music education, so that's what I hope to do: to further education when it comes to music. I hope to direct a high school band and, eventually, become a brass specialist. :)

Mark: I've never met either of those people, I must say. I do have a friend named J.R., though. :wacky:

Is his surname Ewing, by any chance?:P

:nice: Awh cool.

You seem so organised in your life.

What was the last thing that shocked you?

Violet, do you have a song stuck in your head right now and if you do, which one is it?

  • Author

Mark: No, it's Garen. :P

Emma: Thank you. :nice: To answer your question, I believe the last thing that truly shocked me (in a good way) was a friend of mine asking me if I'd go to this concert with her in February. It was just out of the blue, and I've never been asked before, so it was rather exciting. :)

Millie: HEY! How are you? Anyway, it's hard for me to have a song stuck in my head when I'm listening to iTunes. :P To be fair, I CAN tell you that right now, I'm listening to "Let Your Good Heart Lead You Home" by Editors.

No, not at all. You're keeping the thread thriving. :wacky:

Sure, I'd like to ask you one. Is your screen name your actual name? Because if it is, I rather like it. :nice:

Violet, violet in the thread

Who's the prettiest girl on the board?

Jk, jk

Violet, do you carry a lunchbox? :wacky:

Anyway, this thread most definitely isn't pointless.

Have you ever felt your life related to a one of a fictional character on either tv or in a book?

And if so which one?

Hey! I'm okay. How are you?

Ivet: Why, you are. :wacky: :laugh4: No, I don't carry a lunchbox. I do, however, carry the typical brown bag lunch with me when I go to school.

Mark: Awww, thank you. :nice:

Emma: I've felt that way on more than one occasion, actually, mostly when I'm reading a book as I'm sad. Sometimes I compare myself to, ironically, Violet Baudelaire of "A Series of Unfortunate Events." Among other things, we both are the eldest of three kids, and (at least, I'd like to think) we're intelligent.

Millie: These last several days have been rather excellent.

alright Violet I asked the Oracle this question and now I'm going to ask you your opinion:

Is the glass half-empty or half-full? :P

  • Author

Well, for me, it depends what's in it. For example, if it's filled with A & W Cream Soda, it's half-full. (That is, until I drink it.) However, if it's filled with grapefruit juice, it's half-empty, and it'll probably stay that way until it gets so rancid in smell that I'm forced to pour it out.

To be more serious, I try to view the glass as half-full. :)

What if you're drunk?:P

That, sir, would never happen, as I abstain from any and all alcoholic beverages.

I see. So are you a Mormon?

  • Author

Goodness no! :laugh4: Not that I have anything against them; I have relatives that are Mormon, and they are very nice people. I'm just one of those people that don't see the point of recreational drinking.
