OK there is a season of musicals in the Royal Albert Hall, these are called the Proms...the Last Night is the night we celebrate being british, by singing the pomp and circumstance songs. Basically all the songs about how great we were, how much we own, how we ruled the seas, how we never lost wars etc...how the french and german suck ass :D (joking *hides from Jessy*)

 

Songs like "Land of hope and glory" - About how we thanked god for helping us build an empire

Rule Brittania - About how we ruled the seas

Jerusalem - About how England is great because God favoured us

God save the queen - national anthem

 

It's just a big celebration to being British :)

Ahh fox hunting, the way that has been dealt with is a bloody shambles too, I feel for those country folk whos livelihoods have been lost due to an over zealous Prime Minister giving into demands from city folk who wouldnt know their arse from their elbows in the country, but have stepped upon the anti fox hunting bandwagon because its the PC thing to do...jeez get a spine...Fox hunting has been a way of life for hundreds of years, humans are hunter gatherers, lol can you imagine the anti fox hunting brigade lving in Henry VIII times? They would die from shock.

 

Whereas I agree that in todays society there may not be the need for it, it still exists that foxes need to be killed to protect livestock...whats worse? a death to the hands or dogs, or being shot in the leg by a farmer and then starving to death slowly because the fox can't feed itself?

 

The fox hunting debate was never dealt with fairly, very much like the no referendum on the EU and Euro...all I can say is "Tony Blair...you are the weakest link, goodbye."
