it was so fun!! the entertainment group was solepower. they're really good. we were wearing fancy clothes and heals. since we dance a lot i brought socks and put them over my leotards. it's a lot easier to dance in and you won't wreck your shoes.

at one part of the night they put bubble paper all over the floor and we got to jump on it!:D it was actually really fun.:p and if we didn't want to dance they had a casino upstairs where you could play cards and bet with chips (not the edible kind ;) ). the chips weren't worth any money but it was still really fun. the food was pretty good. instead of having a cake they had a bunch of chocolate bars! there must have been 300! so i managed to take 14 of those. :P :D

i kept asking the DJ to play coldplay and he said he would play it later when there were less people since you can't really dance to coldplay. so later i asked him again and he finally checked and didn't have any. by that time it was about 12:50 and pretty much everyone had left.

so we were on our way home when my dad ran out of gas. we were going uphill and the little bit of gas that we did have was at the back of the tank because of that. so we had to push the car up the hill and then we were lucky that all of the way to the gas station was downhill. pushing the car wasn't that hard. there was me, mindy (twin) and two of my friends and then my dad at the front steering and pushing. it was a little hard since we were all wearing and high heals. well not really that much. well after we got the car to the top of the hill we went to the gas station that was pretty close. so we refilled we continued and then we had more car problems for a minute and we didn't know why. so we dropped my friends off and finally came home at about 1:40am.

yep there was food. not a great selection though. we had salad first, spring rolls, and then for the main course there was beef in like a wrap. it was okay. and instead of ice cream itslef, we had an ice cream stand where we could chose from a bunch of different things like ice cream sandwiches or fudgesicles or whatever.

Aww sounds cool! :D I've been to hundreds of bar mitzvah's but it's never been as cool as this one! :/

most of the bar/bat mitzahs i've been to haven't been so exciting. but it was always lots of fun getting dressed up. the best is when there is a smash cake *drools*

and they never ever would play music like coldplay, they need upbeat music like JT to dance to *rock your body*
