I'm glad I'm not the only one.

It's irritating (especially since I'm lazy!)

I hate the essays though.

Oh god, the essays. :sad2:

I will do the same next year. :worried:

I hate the essays!

:(

I have to write one quick before the 15th, and get my English teacher to help me improve it. As well as the one I've already written.

Ohman. Today was the deadline for the one I just got done with.

I probably won't get it, but it's worth the try!

I'm just glad I finished it quickly.

And the essays kill me, I'm telling ya.

KILL ME. I am dead right now. haha

And to rudy, just be glad you have a year to do it.

OOh, and a bit of advice : DON'T PROCRASTINATE. Do it as soon as possible.

Don't be like me! :( haha

im excited to do so next year!! but everyone hates it soooo :P

Omg me too. I already applied to my main University but I have to send apps to back up schools now. I just dont feel like writing another essay :bigcry:

I'm applying early decision so my stuff was due November 15th, and I think what I'm doing now- WAITING to know if I was accepted- is way worse than filling out the application was :wreck:

Yeah, some (most, actually) require you to write an essay from some sort of theme that they give you. Sometimes the essay is optional, but recommended.

It's hell. 'Nuff said.

worth it at the end, but hell.:inquisitive:

That's true. I'll be biting my nails all month until I get a response.

Ohman. Good luck! We know what you had to go through just to apply! :worried:

I hate waiting. I won't find out until January at least. :bomb:

So what did everyone write their essays on?

My first deadline is UT Austin and it requires two essays...one about the person that's most influenced you and one about an issue that's important to you.

^ I wanna go there

that's my 1st choice school, actually!

I've been busy with uni apps too! But no essays yet...my choice schools havent asked for them. I think thats just for scholarships. Which most deadlines are not until later.

thanks :)

everyone's been asking me "are you excited to find out if you got in??" and I'm like "NO, I'm freaking terrified!" everyone assumes that I'll get in, so they all assume that I'm not nervous :dozey:

That's awesome!! One of my friends already got her acceptance letter this year for UT Austin :D:D:D:D

UGH! Lucky!!! (/Napoleon Dynamite)

That's :awesome: indeed :D Congrats to her, dude!

oh my university only required one and there were three prompts to choose from. I chose one to write about a cause you're most passionate about. I wrote about Make trade fair :dozey:

and then another was just write about anything. haha

Dude so today I was just woth my friends chilling after school. and then this kid(Tim) comes and we are talking about college and then just barges out and says, oh me and Brenda don't really have to worry about college applications since one of us is gonna be valedictorian...so then he tells me "you are beating me by point three points, but Im gonna beat you!" (note: he says it infront of all these people AND he is gay so he's super dramatic)

I was just thinking "omg, I dont even know my GPA and you over here on my ass on how you're gonna beat me"...on the brightside I found out I was #1 in my class, so thats a plus :) but I was so upset because home-dude is SO competitive :/

but i guess in the end it's the quality of your application that matters, not if youre #1 or #2..right? :\

.

.

.Indeed it's exhausting, and worse if you're about to face rejections; but that's just the starting point, guys

you will experience greater stress when you are now in a uni, trust me ;)

anyways, best of luck ;)

Which universities are you guys applying for? :D

May I have some tips regarding American universities application? :D

I have to sit for SAT again next year :bomb:
