Comes out with his debut self-titled album made and produced by himself in his bedroom... he's 21 and from Sydney, Australia.

 

The album is filled with warming, pop-folk tracks and the brilliant and popular single, A Community Service Announcement.

seen him live a couple of times. he was a support act so couldnt completely appreciate his work. i know he writes and plays every instrument but he doesnt come across as being the most talented in the band. the girl who does keys and harmonies for him at live shows is by far the stand out in the band

 

hows the debut LP? didnt get around to listening to it

Well, the songs are pretty decent. It's a bit like the Temper Trap's album.. there's one amazing track (Community Service Announcement for Boulet) and glimpses of talent in others. I bought the cd, I will post a review soon.

He's not new, he's been around for 21 years!

 

But seriously, A Community Service Announcement was one of my favourite songs of 2009. Look forward to hearing his album. Hopefully it's ok.
