Mixtape Review: Bernard

1. And So I Watch You From Afar-"S is for Salamander"

I like the guitar at the beginning of this very much. The drum set further adds to it. So far, so good. OOOH, ritardando. And now a very interesting series of tempo shifts and time signatures. This band keeps things very interesting. It seems to me that this song can be a bit ADD sometimes, but hey, I feel as if I am, too. xD See, like here, it suddenly shifts to a softer thing, and then it gets loud again with some strong percussion. I've determined by now that this is an instrumental. I really like this song very much. You picked a very nice opener. :)

2. Delphic-"Doubt (Radio Edit)"

Oh, wow. That's interesting. Is this a techno/electronica thing? The singer's voice is highly interesting. The music here seems to be very busy. Actually, now that I think about it, the vocalist reminds me ever so slightly of the frontman of Bloc Party. This is not stuff that I normally listen to. However, as I've already discovered from listening to multiple mixtapes, your impression of music in general is subject to change. I get pop vibes from the vocals, and yet the music is electronic. Very interesting; I must look more into this.

3. Hot Chip-"I Feel Better"

Synthetic strings at the beginning, then a bass drum beat and vocal entrance. This is the same style of the previous song, isn't it? The syncopation of the strings is what's keeping this track interesting; I've always an advocate of such things. The singing is pretty nice, too. I'm kinda wanting more to happen at this point, even though snare drum has made its entrance. It's a nice track. There's a nice bass beat here, too, as I come to find. Do I detect a use of auto-tune?

4. Los Campesinos!-"We've Got Your Back (Documented Minor Emotional Breakdown #2)"

I tried YouTubing them once and didn't care much for them. Let's see how that works. The intro has a lot of different things going on, which I like. I like the background electronic stuff very much. Hello, use of profanity. I wasn't really expecting that. :laugh4: The vocalists are OK. OOOH, I like this layering that they're doing with the lyrics in this part, like a canon; very clever. :) That's probably my favorite part of the entire thing, actually. I don't hate this, so something has been accomplished. :P

5. Sambassadeur-"The Days"

OOOH, piano and guitar. I like the piano bit indeed. This already seems very upbeat and cheerful, which is stuff I need more of. The strings add more to it, too. The singing works with the background music quite well. This sounds very folksy to me, and I like folksy things. :)

6. Titus Andronicus-"Theme From Cheers"

Ehhh. Not so much, I'm afraid. The background music is fine, but I find the vocalist to be quite annoying. Sorry. :/ The more I listen to this, the more I dislike it. :bomb: It doesn't help that the lyrics are about alcohol. I don't mean to be rude. Again, I do appreciate the background stuff.

7. These New Puritans-"Hologram"

I like this much better already. There's some interesting piano here in the beginning. :wacky: OMG, this one sounds so cool. :cheesy: Big drums+piano+vibes/bells+soft vocals=win. This one is rather cheeky. :laugh4: Love, love, love.

8. Post War Years-"The Red Room"

This one starts off with some percussion and handclaps. Then guitar enters. More layers of sounds enter. This stuff is pretty interesting. It's more indie in nature, which is more of what I'm accustomed to listening to, and it's what I like. :) The keyboards are nice here. There's some dissonance in the song that works, which is cool, considering in some cases I don't necessarily like it. I like the vocals, too.

9. Two Door Cinema Club-"Something Good Can Work (Single Mix)"

Banjo, drums, and beats? Interesting beginning. Then some strumming guitar and other cool little ditties. I hear some sort of bells here. Haha, the vocals are cheeky. :wacky: I like the style lots. The vocals are more pop-ish, and they work perfectly here. This song is cute. :laugh4: I want some more stuff like this, for sure. :wacky:

10. Wild Beasts - We Still Got The Taste Dancing On Our Tongues

This starts with some wailing vocals and, interestingly enough, bongos. Way to give an African feel already. The vocals here remind me of Win Butler from The Arcade Fire. I think it's the vibrato or something. The style of music seems to be a bit more ordered and toned than The Arcade Fire. This is different for me. Not that there's anything wrong with that. The drums are what really make this song cool. The more I listen, the more I'm getting used to the vocals. I think after my transitioning as far as Win Butler is concerned, I've gained the ability to adjust to this sort of thing.

11. The Airborne Toxic Event-"Sometime Around Midnight"

Swallowed Seaman had this band on his mix, too; he used "Innocence." I don't care too much for the guy's singing, to be perfectly honest. Anyway, to the song. This one starts off quite pretty in the beginning with strings. I love strings in modern music, especially cellos. :wacky: It then goes to this softer guitar. And then the singing begins. Mehhh. :\ They're not as bad as I've heard in other songs, to be fair. This seems to be a softer track of theirs, I guess.

12. Husky Rescue-"We Shall Burn Bright"

OOOH. Already. :wacky: The bells and stuff make the beginning so nice. This is a much faster track. OMG, are those bassoons!? :cheesy: That's so cool. This song adds a bunch of other cool thingies, too. The vocals are soft, which makes a perfect compliment to the contrasting background. OOOH, there's that catchy guitar bit again. Man, the bells in here make this song that much more awesome. Now, it's softer, with just vocals, snare, and drones from other instruments. Now it's building up into this sort of profound thing, I guess. :laugh4: It does go somewhere. This was a very nice track. :)

13. So Many Dynamos-"The Formula"

Hmmm. OOOH, what was that pitch shift thingy? There's a nice little beat in the song now. Nice bass here! "And the formula doesn't work!" Bahaha. Nice guitar strummage here. I could imagine myself dancing to this...that is, if i knew how to dance. :laugh4: The lyrics are interesting, from what I can hear. I'm now trying to figure out what MrNick found so offensive. "The seismic waves are crashing..." I like this one. It's a lovely way to close the tape.

Overall, I found this mix to be highly interesting. It showed me things that I was foreign to and it led me to explore a new musical side of myself. :wacky: Thanks, Bernard! :)

Great, thanks! Downloading now!

EDIT: I'm listening to song 5 right now, WOW!!!

Hope you'll enjoy it !!

did you meant 'track 6' ? :p

Finally, my review for the fantastically patient Yellowtalking :nice:

I should maybe say that my name's Erika. :nice:

1.starts softly, with pretty acoustic guitar and humming. Heavier drums come in, unexpectedly, but it’s a nice beat and a pretty melody. Piano, guitar, drums. Singer is singing in a foreign language, so I don’t understand the lyrics, but it sounds really nice! Like this one. :)

I'm happy you liked it! It's "Mannen i den vita hatten" ('The man in the white hat') by the Swedish band Kent. :cheesy:

2. nice guitar intro… “on a day like today…” nice vocals. This reminds me of something, but I can’t put my finger on what exactly. Nice, not my favorite, but quite good.

It's "Into the blue" by Geneva.

3. Sigur Ros, Hoppipola  love this one. It’s actually THE ONLY Sigur Ros song I know… I guess I should check them out. Where do you recommend I start?

 on that song. I really really really love it.

4. This one sounds kind of like stuff from the early 90s… “this monkey’s gone to heaven”? I *think* that’s what they’re saying! :P This one’s Ok.

Yep, you're right. It's Monkey gone to heaven by the Pixies.

5. Interesting guitar intro. Male and female vocalists… like the melody. Like this one. “you just keep on getting closer…”

This is Crystalised by The xx. Haiiaiiiaiii

6. Mmm… definitely different. A bluesy opening… OH! This is the Dave Matthews Band! Probably off their new album? Don’t know this song, but it’s definitely Dave. :)

Of course it's Dave! The song is called Angel and it's from their album Everyday. It's been one of my top 5 songs for many years now

7. Nice guitar intro. Oh, this sounds like David Bowie. I know basically NO David Bowie, but this definitely sounds like him. Liking it! “there’s a starman waiting in the sky…” definitely Bowie!

Yes, it certainly is our dear Ziggy Stardust. The song's called Starman. I really like him

8. Ooh, great instrumentation… a violin and a mandolin! “I wish I was a fisherman…” nice! Really pretty music. The singer sounds nothing like Bruce Springsteen, but for some reason, he reminds me of him.

It reminded me of Bruce the first time I heard it too!

It's one of those songs my mother always plays in the car (and one of the few that I like ). It's Fisherman's Blues by Waterboys.

9. “I love the feeling when we lift off…” good beat; like the singer’s voice. Oooh, I like this. Has a familiar feel to it, but I know I haven’t heard it before. Definitely a rocker… “this fear’s got a hold on me…” Really like this one!

This is Death by White Lies. I've been obsessed since they opened for Coldplay

10. This one sounds quite a bit country (but good country!) “you’re in a tailspin..” this singer’s voice sounds familiar, but I can’t place it. Pretty good!

Tailspin by Jayhawks. One of the few country songs that I like.. Got is from my country-obsessed uncle

11. Synths to open, soaring vocals, wow! This is really cool! Really interesting instrumentation… can’t make out much of the lyrics, but I really like the sound of this one. “I don’t mean to seem like I care about material things…” Interested to find out who this is!

My girls by Animal Collective.

12. Ahhhh! Gorgeous guitar opening… it’s “Romeo and Juliet”! I know the Dire Straits version… this one is definitely different from the version I have. Love it, though!

It's The Killers' version. The only cover I can think of, that's as good as the original.

13. Ooohh, pretty! Female vocalist and piano. “they’re going to eat me alive, if I stumble…” Really like her voice. ”help I’m alive, my heart keeps beating like a hammer” Like this one a lot! Oh! It’s a demo! That explains the sparse instrumentation. Like it!!

Help I'm alive by Metric :cheesy:

14. Upbeat, fun. Reminds me of Vampire Weekend. “…I’m not down” fun rhythms and melody. Like!

I'm not down by The Clash (my favourite punk band :awesome:)

15. DMB! The Space Between. :) Probably my favorite song off of that album (which I haven’t really listened to a lot, to be honest). I loved the first 3 DMB albums, then they started to lose me. I should check them out again!

Lovelovelovelove, Dave

16. “Seems like the world’s gone underground…” Nice. Love the vocals. Really pretty.

God says nothing back by the Wallflowers. Vocals are great indeed, it's Bob Dylan's son, Jakob Dylan. :cheesy:

17. “it’s that ancient love…” The singer’s voice is really interesting (in a good way!). Like the melody and instrumentation as well. Sounds like an older track, but I’m probably wrong about that. Like this one.

It's a new track, Dust on the ground by Bombay Bicycle Club. Was released 2009.

18. OK, I confess, I think some of these are out of order because the original track number showed up… so I don’t know if this is supposed to be track 18 in your mix, but that’s where I’m putting it. “I don’t feel alright…” Pretty melody, high voice. Like the guitar. “why don’t we share our solitude…” just simple repeated guitar and piano chords, until it breaks into a fuller sound a couple of minutes in. It’s a very nice melody and nice sound, but it does go on for quite a while there at the end. Overall good, though could have been a lot shorter!

Mew Mew Mew Mew!

Comforting sounds.

19. Wow! That’s a high voice for what I’m assuming is a man. It’s a pretty song… can’t make out a lot of the lyrics… something about “underneath the windowsill…” “Let us be happy while we’re still young” I like it. :)

Geneva again, the song's called Tranquilizer.

20. the “protected” track you informed me is supposed to be Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb. I will confess, I am NOT a Pink Floyd fan. The only song I really like by them is “Wish You Were Here”. This one’s OK, though.

Nothing much to say here.. But I've grown up with that song and I still love it. :)

21.!!!!!! A Message 2010!!!!!! Love, love, love

Simply

Thank you so so so much for your long review, and I'm happy you liked it! :D

Dear fietssleutel:

I shall only say one thing about your mixtape right now.

OMFG CARO EMERALD IS SO FRICKIN' AWESOME I NEED ME SOME MORE OF THAT. :wacky:

I thought you should know. :P

 Kent....

I like some of their stuff

I like some of their stuff

They're pretty good, but I can't name one song, though I can name one album: Jag och Døden. Or maybe Min Kompis Døden.....:wtf:

Du och jag döden :D

Hey Clem!

I downloaded your tape, too. I'm sorry I don't have time to do a full, real review, but I wanted to let you know what I thought.

First of all, my song order is probably going to be off, because I did a quick listen through earlier, and when I came back, my media player had detected and tagged a few of the songs, and pulled them out of order :( So, I know the names of a few songs/artists thanks to media player. :D

1. Mediaplayer tells me this is Esthero- I Drive Alone. I had not heard this one before, and I like the sound of it alot. Great rhythm and instrumentation and I like the singer's voice, too. :)

2. This one's also new to me. Has a similar vibe to the first song; another great female vocalist. Almost sounds like Alicia Keyes...?

3. Don't know which one's supposed to be track 3, so I'll just review... "Let Go" by Frou Frou, instead :D Mediaplayer also told me the name of this one, but I actually already knew it because it was on the mixtape that I received, too! I really liked this one :)

4. Nice guitar intro... maybe harp, too? Like the vocals.. "it's not over, not over, not over..." Like this one. :)

5. acoustic guitar intro; drums come in. Vocals are familiar... is this Empire of the Sun? I don't know any of their songs other than "Walking on a Dream" but this has a very similar sound.

6. OOOhhhhh! It's Chris! This must be one of his collaborations I haven't heard (I know, I'm probably the only person on here who hasn't heard it! :P) oh, but I love it. Thanks for this one!

7. Again, not sure where this one is supposed to be in the mix, but track 7 seems like a good place for it! :P Media Player tells me this is Stay out of Trouble by The Kings of Convenience. It's good! Has a folk vibe to it, which I like. :) Nice harmonies, too.

8. Nice piano intro. Like the vocals, too. Oh, I really like this one, too. :) '...I don't know, Sylvia..."

9. "...It's a mad, mad world..." hmmm.. I've heard OF this song before, though, I've never actually heard it. Pretty good. :nice:

Ok, i've got to run in a few minutes, so I'm gonna do a quick skim over the last eleven (!) tracks. :)

- Song 10 repeats the lyric "black and gold..." this one is OK, but not my favorite.

- Song 12 is a live track... not bad.

- track 13 is unassigned.

- and Track 14 is also unassigned...

- Song 15- really like the vocals and melody... really pretty

- Song 16 sounds kind of familiar, musically. "... put your stones away; put your bow and arrow down.." Like it!

- Song 17- guitar, soft vocals. nice melody and harmonies. Like the piano added in, too.

- Song 18- So Sorry- Feist! I really like Feist and this album, The Reminder :D

- Song 20- really different intro, snapping, lots of synth elements. not bad.

- Song 21- this one feels kind of familiar, but I can't place what it reminds me of. another that's not my favorite, but definitely not bad, either.

- Media Player tells me I've got...

"The Eraser" by Thom Yorke. REALLY liked this one. :)

OH! The Moon, by The Swell Season! I  the Swell Season. Love the combination of Glen and Marketa's voices! I knew it was the Swell Season when I heard this, though I hadn't heard this song before. love it. :)

-"Breathe Me" by Sia. Like the piano, like the vocals; kind of somber feeling at the beginning. like this one!

Sorry for the out of order review, but thanks for sharing your mix! Lots of stuff that's new to me that I enjoyed, and I liked the kind of mellow vibe the whole tape had.. can't wait to see the tracklist! :nice:

Hi Erika! I'm Jen :nice: I really enjoyed your mix! Thanks, and thanks for the tracklisting...

I'm particularly surprised with the Animal Collective song. I REALLY liked that one, but when I sampled some of their stuff a while ago, I couldn't really get into it. I'll definitely have to give them another shot. Which album is that song from?

I also really loved the Metric song. I'll be getting that album, too! :D

Thank you for this generally positive review, violetsparks! :)

Here are the lyrics to 'The Formula'. I'm not calling MrNick out on this, but let's see if you can put two and two together:

The faultline slipped, the faultline slipped,

The faultline slipped and my knees keep shaking.

The Arch collapsed, the Arch collapsed,

But I still see its shadow cast over the river

Keep your head from falling

Keep your fragile chest from collapsing

When it's finally said with conviction that the formula doesn't work.

If the glaciers melt, the water will engulf ourselves,

And every book on every shelf is invalid if the formula doesn't work:

And the formula doesn't work.

And the formula doesn't work.

No, the formula doesn't work.

And the formula doesn't work.

Keep your hands together

Keep your eyelids clenched so tightly

With the backup plan: so flawless

How can everything end like this?

So here it is:

When the lava burns our wives and kids

We'll be certain the hypothesis is faulty

If the formula doesn't work

And the formula doesn't work.

Mountains are big and they all look fake

We'll be nothing but ashes in their wake

Now we know that it's worse than we'd ever think

We evolve, we adapt, or become extinct

The clouds are epic and the sky is colossal

But in a million years, we'll all just be fossils

Mountains are big and they all look fake

Evolution is such a hard habit to break

It was heavy but it wasn't lethal

It was sketchy but it wasn't illegal

Glaciers will melt and the land will slide

And we can say we tried, but

The faultline slipped, the faultline slipped,

The faultline slipped and my knees keep shaking

The seismic waves, the seismic waves,

Are crashing into the surface, breaking

The plates collide, the plates collide,

And we're all just fossils in the making

The Arch collapsed, the Arch collapsed,

But I still see its shadow cast over the river

There's a place in the atmosphere

Where the sound waves go that no one can hear

Where the words you speak that no one should know

Where'd you think that your prayers go?

There's a place in the atmosphere

Where the sound waves go when they disappear

Where the words you speak that no one should know

Where'd you think that your prayers go?

Please, call me Violet. :)

You're really quite welcome. Actually, if any thanking should be done, it's me to you. I now have ASIWYFA and Puritans in my library, and I plan to do the same with Delphic and Two Door Cinema Club once they have an official release. :wacky:

...Are the lyrics supposed to be an innuendo of sorts? :P

Bergar likes Wild Beasts? :cheesy:

:uhoh:

Hope you'll enjoy it !!

did you meant 'track 6' ? :p

Track 6!!! :dead:

Track 6!!!

Track 6!!! :wacky:

Why did I not hear this song before???

OMG it has been on repeat non stop since the first time I played it. I didn't hear the rest of your tape yet, but this song alone makes it the best tape ever.

That soft and sweet voice.... :wacky:

So beautiful :wacky:

Agh, how I love this song (and the singer :D).

Thanks!!!!!!!

well mine had plenty from a Manchester influence, not sure if that's what you're looking for?

I've been listening to your tape, and I discovered some great new music, thanks a lot!

I love numbers 1, 4, 6 and 7, and my favourites are 8 and 10.

I love number 8, the song from Paul McCartney (I found the tracklisting in the first post of this thread). What an awesome song, gonna keep this one forever :wacky:

And oh! Number 10, Grassman. Love, love, love that one! I'm definately gonna listen to more music from this band, any advice wich album to start with?

I'm glad I downloaded your tape because I really love it, and there is not one song that I didn't like! Thanks :)

The Animal Collective song is from their latest album, Merriweather Post Pavillion, and the Metric song is from the album Fantasies. :nice:

Bergar likes Wild Beasts? :cheesy:

:uhoh:

Yus.

But only the new record.

@Violet: That's one of the more interesting interpretations of the lyrics I've seen! :laugh3:

@Violet: That's one of the more interesting interpretations of the lyrics I've seen! :laugh3:

...So I guess I'll take that as a "no." :laugh4:

Ionno. I think maybe I was looking too far into it. :P

Anyone made a indie-britpop-like mix tape? I would love to listen to it :D

me too me too!! :cheesy:

who's got one? :)

Got to tell yah! I hate radio in the states; they play far too many people who can’t carry a tune so I listen to Absoluteradio in London all the time, so most of my music is from the UK. So that being the case I went through my computer to find some stuff that was not from the UK. I’m so sorry that a bunch of my songs didn’t work! And I understand about the baby situation! I have quite a few niece's and nephews ;) Hope your son is doing well!

1) I've heard this one played on the radio but no idea who it is. Quite a good opener to the mix from the piano tinkles.

--1. In My Head—Until June—Sound of Defeat

-This is a band from California, their songs are often used on TV shows in the states. I find them to have a different sound, which is unique and I too like the piano

2) Phoenix, can't remember the name of the song though. Mixtape, so far so good!

--2. 1901—Phoenix—Wolgang Amadeus Phoenix

- Yup indeed it’s Phoenix, thought it was a fun song so I put it on the mixtape

3) Its clear that this mix will feature many anthemic songs, here's another over 5 minutes long. Its ok, but not my favourite on the mix.

--3. Actions Are Actions—Low vs Diamons—Low vs Diamond

- This is also a band from California they are just getting started out there, so I thought I might share it with you, no worries about not liking it! ;)

4) Another one I've heard, fuck knows who it is. Very grizzly!

--4. Monsters—Hurricane Bells—Tonight is the Ghost

-Interesting you thought of Grizzly on this track cause that’s who I thought of when I heard it too. The singer in this band is Steve Schiltz who used to sing and play guitar in a band called Longwave.

5) Jack Johnson, Taylor, I'm sure I've seen him play this at Glastonbury - happy this one is in here! :)

--5. Taylor—Jack Johnson—On &On

- I love love love Jack Johnson. I have been following him since about 2001 when he released his first cd. I was able to get the radio DJ in CT to play some of his stuff when I lived there, so I take pride in his music!

6) I can't put my finger on this at all, but I like it! Reminded me of Enya when it came on...... but somehow I don't think this mixer will have much Enya in the CD collection!!

--6. Can’t Take It In—Imogen Heap—The Chronicles of Narnia

- Enya haha I do have some enya! But, this lady is from your neck of the woods! It’s Imogen Heap and if you were to watch the credits in the first Chronicles of Naria movie this song would play ;)

7) The Kooks, she moves in her own way. Nice! :)

--7. She Moves In Her Own way—The Kooks—Inside In/ Inside Out

- They have top music!

8) Florence and the Machine - Rabbit Heart acoustic

After a male vocal dominated mixtape this song is almost like the pinnacle female voice of the album, much softer than the single version. Favourite track of the mixtape. I very much like this track as I have done since it was released. One of my most played on Spotify.

--8. Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up) [Acoustic]—Florence + The Machine—Drumming Song Ep

- I have fallen head over heels for Florence’s music! I’m just trying to convice people over here of here greatness

9) Horchata by Vampire Weekend: I'm not that big a fan but this song is different enough than most on this mix so its a stand out track for me :)

--9. Horchata—Vampire Weekend—Contra

- It takes time to get used to Vampire Weekend; glad it stood out for you!

10) Don't know who this gentleman is I'm afraid, not my type of music so if I don't get to find out I'll not lose any sleep!

--10. Moon—Benton Paul—Trois

- This is a guy from my school, no worries about not liking it again!

11) Couldn't play this for some reason, either my computer or the fact I don't have iTunes installed?? :/

--11. Geraldine—Glassvegas—Geraldine

- Sorry this track didn’t work for you, yeah it came from iTunes ☹

12) Wouldn't download for me I'm afraid :(

--12. 83—John Mayer—Room For Squares

-Again sorry this one didn’t work for you either! It didn’t come from iTunes, but its all good, I threw this one on there because it brought back some awesome memories of seeing him live, and missing my lunch box :D

13) Another song I've heard but I have no clue as to who it is or what its called. note to self: must pay more attention to the artist when the song finishes on the DAB! Overall an OK song, not overly enamoured by it though.

--13. She Needs Me—Fyfe Dangerfield—Fly Yellow Moon

- Yeah, he is played a lot on absoluteradio

14) Lake Michigan by Rogue Wave, I recognise this from the radio only. Never heard any other stuff by them. A stand out track on the mix for me.

--14. Lake Michigan—Rogue Wave—Asleep at Heaven’s Gate

-Eh this is about the only track besides Eyes that I like from them, so your probably not missing a whole lot from them ;)

15) Couldn't get this to play, was it from iTunes? (Which I haven't got)

--15. Lonelily—Damien Rice—B-Sides

- I’m quite sad that this track didn’t work for you either, seeing as it’s one of my favorites from him. He writes incredible sons with fantastic lyrics. If you get a chance I would look him up on youtube and check out some of his stuff!

16) One Republic - Good Life. I know this song!! :P

--16. Good Life—OneRepublic—Waking Up

- Awesome band! Great lyrics! I choose it cause it talks about the UK haha not really, but its in there. It’s just got a great beat to it!

17) I might like this the more I play it. Like the beat of the song, and it is indeed good for driving to!

--17. Full Moon—The Black Ghosts—Twilight

- Keep listening it will grow on you! It did to me!

18) 3rd one I couldn't get to play.. :(

--18. We Are—Vertical Horizon—Everything You Want

- Blast! this one didn’t work also! I tried to throw in some early 2000 in! This is one of my favorite bands, I wish they were still making music!

19) Big fan of acoustic versions of songs, but not this. Reminded me of Boyzone!

--19. Out Loud (Live)—Dispatch—Bang Bang (Remastered)

- Haha, sorry you didn’t like it! They normally don’t do acoustic stuff, perhaps if you get time you should listen to their other stuff you might like then again you might not! ;) by the way I have no idea who Boyzone is but for some reason I’m picturing Backstreet Boys with British accents

20) Somewhere over the rainbow Reggae style??? Me likes! :pimp2:

--20. Somewhere Over The Rainbow—Isreal Kamakawiwo’ole—Alone in IZ World

- Kind of reggae indeed. The guy singing this song is known as Hawaii’s hero! Unfortunately he died, but he lives on in his fantastic music

Sorry you couldn’t hear some of the songs, sorry you didn’t like some of the songs, glad you did like others! Oh and sorry it wasn’t in a .rar file, I have no idea how to make one on a mac! Cheers!

me too me too!! :cheesy:

who's got one? :)

I tried to varry mine as much as possible (within Rock/Pop) but the last section of tracks count as Indie
