Rachel Ross, 15, had secretly organised a private gathering on the social networking website while her parents attended an overnight wedding. But trouble flared when more than 50 uninvited guests turned up at the semi-detached house in Wallasey, Merseyside, on Friday night. Trashed: Father-of-four Michael Ross returned to his Merseyside home to find it in ruins after his teenage daughter threw a party she had advertised on Facebook After one party-goer screamed 'Let's trash the house!' the yobs rioted and caused thousands of pounds worth of damage. They urinated in a two-year-old's bed and into cups, and poured red paint over the family's laundry. Collectable Samurai swords were ripped off the wall and hurled around the house like spears, and left embedded in the wall, while a decommissioned rifle was used to smash a room's light fittings. A children's Wendy house was smashed into pieces and a bedroom wrecked. A television was also damaged. Two laptops, phones, an Xbox and Wii, and jewellery were stolen together with a collection of antique weapons including a World War II bayonet and a Napoleonic broadsword. Fortunately, a cache of shotguns lay untouched as they had been locked in a safe. Aftermath: More than 50 gatecrashers caused damage including pouring paint over the family's laundry and urinating in a two-year-old's bed Rachel's father Michael Ross, 34, discovered the damage when he returned home late on Saturday morning. The father-of-four described the perpetrators as 'animals'. 'They can't have any respect for anyone,' he said. 'We got the shock of our life when we saw the damage. 'My wife went hysterical.' Mr Ross had arranged for Rachel and the couple's other children, aged 13, 12 and two, to stay with friends while they attended the wedding. But Rachel sneaked back to the family home to make preparations for the party. She claims to have fallen unconscious during the night and believes she was handed a drink that may have been spiked. Clean-up: Even the garden was left covered in rubbish Neighbours contacted police after chaos erupted, and one reveller was heard shouting: 'Let's trash the house!' The cost of the damage is likely to run into thousands of pounds. The family's insurance firm have offered to put them up in a hotel for a couple of nights. Mr Ross, a building contractor, said: 'This was vandalism for vandalism's sake. 'Obviously, Rachel shouldn't have sneaked back home, and she was wrong to do so, but she never wanted this to happen.' Although police called at the address, they did not believe the party had got out of control. It was only when Mr Ross discovered the damage the following morning that they attended for a second time. A spokeswoman for Merseyside Police said: 'We were called at 12.15am following reports of a party getting out of hand, people turning up, drink cans left, people messing around on the front lawn and loud music playing. 'Patrols went to the address and reported nothing untoward. The next day, we received a report of a house broken into and damage caused inside.' You can tell the Daily Mail Reporter wanted to write "Unfortunately" here, think of the headlines! Months and months of 'Shotgun Shooting' Britain! Oh the Daily Mail Reporter was Daily Mail Reporter by the by. They can't even source their journalists.
