D'oh, how could I have forgotten Doves? One of my favorite albums of the decade, much less 2009.

Was just coming on here to post about Kingdom Of Rust haha. To be honest, I spent most of 2009 listening to stuff I'd fallen in love with in 2008, VLV included. I didn't discover much new stuff. :\ But Kingdom Of Rust is an absolute masterpiece! Only really gave it a chance in December when I went to see them. After that, I've realised how amazing all their stuff is. :D

Me thinks 2009 was a pretty successful year for music esp. for some more underrated bands and such :nice:

very much an underrated year overall. so much great music has been mentioned over the last couple of pages.

 

i most certainly would not say it is the worst year of the decade. which is? i really dont know
