Please take good care of Roy Oswalt and welcome him with open arms. He's meant so much to us in Astros Nation, and he's a good pitcher. I'm sure he'll help you guys out a lot, and as much as I hate to see him go, he's at least going to my #2 team, and he's going to a place where he'll actually get run support and go somewhere with his career.

I really wish it were a joke. Unfortunately, I just saw him at-bat in a Yankee uniform, so it isn't some sort of twisted joke. :bigcry:

 

Please don't hate him. There isn't any reason for it. It's not really his fault, and at any rate, he is a REALLY great guy as a person. This complicates things for me SO much, because he is my favorite baseball player ever. I had a huge crush on him for a long while at one point. He's just been one of those people that are special to me. I don't like the Yankees, no, but at the same time, I want Lance to be successful.

D'aww, I feel bad for you. :hug: Yeah, I guess it's not like he just got up and left on his own for millions of dollars. It wasn't his fault, your right. I'll try my best not to hate him, but at the same time, I won't be rooting for him. :P

Fair enough. I can't expect you to root for the Yankees, being a Red Sox fan. That's silly. I myself will root for Lance and ONLY LANCE when they play. I imagine things becoming even more complicated if the Yankees make the World Series. I wouldn't root for the Yankees, but it would be nice for Lance to get a ring. GAHHHHH. Actually, I don't even want to think about that. I already miss not seeing him in Astros colors. :bigcry:
