I'm sorry, Christina. :( Don't worry; those Phillies should get their act together.

Did you hear about the 20-inning epicness between St. Louis and the Mets Saturday night? Man, that's crazy. I had just gotten in from a recital, and Mom was like, "This game is in the 18th inning." Craaaaazy stuff.

Thanks.

That was nuts! Seven hours, and the poor Cardinals fans waited all that time to see them lose. Crazy stuff.

Today, Houston has their series opener against Florida back home in Minute Maid.

AND LANCE BERKMAN IS SUPPOSED TO BE BACK THEN. YAAAAAAAY! :cheesy:

-gives much love to Big Puma-

Houston beat Florida 7-5, and Berkman went 1-4 with a double and had 2 RBIs. This is Houston's third win in a row. They've won 4 out of their last 5 games after that awful 0-8 start.

Life as an Astros fan is starting to look good again.

^:cheesy:!

All I have to say about last night's Phillies game.

Ryan Madson.

Grow some freaking balls.

Thanks.

OMG, our fourth consecutive win! We defeated Florida 5-4 in a comeback win thanks to Geoff Blum's pinch-hit triple.

Damn. Yankees lost today. At least they won the series.

Angels tomorrow! :D

Actually....

it's Moyer.

:bigcry:!!!

Houston lost last night, 5-1. Only two of those runs were earned. :dozey: Paulino did get kinda hammered, but still.

At least Berkman went 2-4 with 2 singles yesterday. :wacky:

Damn. Yankees lost today.

It's always a good day when I hear that. :cheesy:

Did anyone see that Brewers-Pirates final score, 20-0? :stunned: It make some sort of record, don't know which.

Craaazy stuff.

^ I heard about that from a friend of mine not too long ago. That's madness. D:

Speaking of the Pirates, Houston starts a series with them tonight.

:D, It should be an easy series then!!

Oh, and the Philies are officially on a horrible losing streak. :uhoh:

And I see them again in two weeks. Hopefully they'll do better by then, especially being at home and all.

So. The Pirates series was awesome. We swept them, and Lance hit his first home run yesterday afternoon! :cheesy: I was worried after Lance was taken out of the game in the 8th inning (He was limping and stuff...), but in the postgame conference, manager Brad Mills says that all is well with him. :nice:

We start a series with the Reds tonight. Aaron Harang is pitching for Cincy.

Can you believe...

the freaking NATIONALS....

are CATCHING UP on us?!?!?

Oh well. Looks like the Red Sox might do well this year. Whenever they win a World Series, they always start off horribly.

Looks like I'll be going to Boston to see them again soon, too. :cheesy:

:D

Either Boston or New York. Maybe both.

God I LOVE going to Red Sox games at Yankees stadium. It's so fun to rub in in the Yankees faces when we're winning... which is most of the time. :smug:

OK, so apparently I lied about the Cincy series. Houston had an off day yesterday. :P They ARE scheduled to start today, though. Promise.

^^SUCH a close game! It was nuts!

But, they won. A win is a win. :smug:

Anyways, Roy suffered his first loss last night.

I can't believe it. I thought "If we're EVER going to win a game again, it's going to be when Halladay's pitching."

He proved me wrong.

SHIT.

Philly, we have a problem.
