NFL 2010-2011 Thread

Featured Replies

The NFL is practically a year around sport now, with Free Agency and the Draft there is always something to talk about. Who's your team and are you happy with what they have done so far in the off-season? I was posting in the NFL thread here about the New Orleans Saints vs. Indianapolis Colts superbowl game in a thread that was about the previous superbowl a year before so I don't know how successful this thread will be...

Hope there are other die hard football fans on this board!

So far we've lost Jamal Williams, LT, and Cromartie. I hope we can get a decent running back in the draft.

I'm an OU fan so pumped about Bradford maybe being the no. 1 overall pick.

The Chargers have lost so much talent this off-season. My team is doing their usual, picking up one key player (from what I hear) and then doing absolutely nothing.

I'm not too worried. We played all last year without Williams. And he is getting up there in age. Same with LaDanian. Getting old, lowest YPC of his career. I think we'll be fine without him. And Cromartie just didn't fit in with the new defensive scheme. His tackling sucks. His lackluster play vs. the Jets in the playoffs was embarrassing. I didn't mind seeing him go.

You know that guy has like 6 kids with 5 different wives?

The Jets are going to be the best team on paper next year if they get a good wide receiver, Edwards is only good 50% of the time. As a Dolphins fan I hate them with a passion so I'm hoping they are in for a huge let down.

I'll be mildly interested in a few weeks, but generally apathetic until september.

I am a little curious about all these Donovan trade rumors. hmm

I mean, we did take Vick's option, but I honestly don't want to see Kholb in there already.

I am also very excited for the draft. I really want to know who drafts Timmy. =]

Chad Henne went to my high school.

Just thought that was a fun fact. haha :P

I want to see Bradford go no. 1. (I'm an OU fan)

However I think St. Louis would be better served to trade for McNab to fill their QB needs and grab Suh no. 1.

Go Chad Henne! Future QB of the Dolphins, I think he has a very great future ahead of him, I like him a lot as our QB.

As an Indianapolis Colts season ticket holder I have to say I need a nice, long break from football.....even still. It doesn't get much more painful than this year.

And seeing as how I have family at the University of Notre Dame I would like to see Jimmy Clausen drafted early. Preferably to someone bad so I can still cheer for him without fear of him beating the Colts. haha

I had this hoodie made a couple of years ago in honor of the Detroit Lions' "perfect" season. You have to say the name and number out loud. :D

I'm sure they'll do much better this year.

:awesome: I would laugh but my Miami Dolphins nearly went defeated three years ago.
