Or maybe a remake of some 1970s tv show :P

Are TV script writers getting as lazy as film script writers with remakes of old films

  • 2 weeks later...

It's over :bigcry:

The finale left so many questions unanswered and call for a S2...!

WOW, already a second blackout!! I think Charlie's is talking about Mark in her new FF...she's so grown!!

But I wonder at the little snipet we saw...to whom they belong? And what is the evil organisation purpose? Why kidnap Janice?

I'm a bit sad about Bryce/Nicole...I love those two together :/

Now I'm gonna buy the book to have an answer. I know the serie has twisted the original material, but at least, I'll have a REAL end!

I won't read that spoiler until I've watched it. :P

Talk to you then. :)

Well, that was a good enough way to end it all if you're capable of letting go, but I still feel like I just had a book ripped out of my hands right when it was getting really good.

I think there needs to be a rule saying if a series is going to be cancelled or not renewed they should do a one-off episode to wrap up any remaining plots
YES. *feels sorry for all the Law and Order fans*

The networks will lose all their viewers if they keep doing that. *Oh yeah* they already are.

But seriously, who in their right mind is going to invest their time in a show before the second season if all the good ones keep getting canceled. It's not worth trying.

Yes. Sort of. Most of the best TV writers have either fled to pay cable like HBO where they can have creative control, or are being silenced by suits who say they won't spend money on things people don't already like. CSI Alaska, here we come.

That might be a good idea... I'll have to track it down sometime...

Damn you channel 5 for pushing the final episode back an hour on monday so that you can fit in a movie

Mhmm, that was quite disappointing!

I kept looking at the minutes left until the ep was over and thought how on earth they're going to end all this in such few minutes...

Couldn't agree more!

I still don't understand the big network policies... They engage money, top actors and writers to put on great show and then, they sabotage it (like putting them at crappy hours for The Black Donnellys or getting off the air for 3-4 months for Flashforward) and after that, they are suprised that they haven't many viewers??! Seriously??!!! Not only they let crap shows on. :dozey:

I bought it today, and apparently, Mark Benford is not a character on the book, Lloyd is the hero...

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Lloyd is the hero!!!!!:charming::blush::devilish::bulb2::laugh2::laugh1::rolleyes5::sunny:

I am definitly going to read the book, I am going to ask my parents for it in my birthday!!!!

I hate those executives cancelling TV shows:veryangry2: they also cancelled Heroes, and Scrubs and Better Off Ted...... I just hate them they are so stupid: you're right, I don't know how the hell they want good ratings if they don't support the shows???? It's like Doctor Who ; they cancelled it because of bad audience ratings, BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T EVEN ANNOUNCED IT ON THE FUCKin COMMERCIALS!!!!How could possibly the people know the show was on tv??????

and now? they don't really expect me to watch crap like glee do they? I want to read the book too.

Maybe a GOOD NEWS?!!! I follow Neil Jackson on twitter (he was the british bad guy mastermind on Flashforward). Look what he just tweeted!

Starz network just announced they are 'aggressively' interested in picking up Flashforward on their programming. The show may go on...

It would be :awesome:  Maybe we'll have answers after all!!!
