I'm currently testing out some applications to support the coldplaying forum on different mobile applications, starting with the iPhone, Blackberry, Android and Nokia.

 

I've installed what I need at this end but since I don't have an iPhone or Blackberry etc I need people to test it.

 

If you can help, please download the Tapatalk app from http://www.tapatalk.com/ and browse the forum with it.

good news for Tapatalk users - it's now a free app with all future updates also free. Also huge upgrade recently to incorporate vB5 (which we're not yet on) for android 4.x.x. capable smartphones. vB3 and vB4 only need 2.x.x.

 

Basically, if you want to browse the Coldplaying forums with a mobile, the future is orange.

 

Did I mention it's now free?

Awesome. I tried to access the site via my mobile quite some time ago and found it very difficult. I'll download and try out the app shortly. :D

I would buy it because $2.99 isn't much, but I don't control the account connected to my iPhone, and there is no money in it. Is the free version somewhere?

I find it unprofessional for Tapatalk to send a circular out confirming that the app is free, only to find out that it is not. I have not yet had a response.

 

The only version I found that is free is T4 beta for Android

Yeah I searched it just before and it's now free. They must have listened to you Ian! It works well, I'll definitely be using it whilst on my mobile (most of the time)

 

The only problem I can see is some smilies aren't working, but it isn't a big deal.

 

And you can attach pictures from your camera roll which I was hoping for!

 

EDIT: sorry the screenshot is huge, you can choose what size and I chose "best" which is huge :P

 

the smilies appear to be the ones used in the original version of vBulletin. I added a whole new set for Coldplaying. I'll see if there is any porting of them for tapatalk

I downloaded it today and everything works... except for the fact that I can't log in :| it says I entered a wrong username or password but I've tried 4 times and I'm sure it's right

It's probably a tapatalk issue that doesn't have anything to do with this forum because it won't work on another forum either
