Coldplay and Political Issues

Featured Replies

So I'm writing an essay for a class at school. It's terribly boring to explain the whole topic of the essay, so I'll get down to business. I need some quotes from band members about their stance on political issues, why the feel these issues are important, etc. I need some that specifically reference George W. Bush as well. I already have some quotes, but if any of you know of some I might be able to use, I would really appreciate it! Thanks :)

I don't know how trustworthy these are, they are from thinkexist.com

“I send my love to Liam. We're not in a fight with everyone - except George Bush.”

-Chris

"Awards are essentially nonsense, but we`re all going to die when George Bush (George W. Bush) has his way - it`s good to go out with a bang." -Chris

(from here)

"I think shareholders are the great evil of this modern world"

-Chris (also from quotelucy.com)

“Economically, unfair trade will benefit nobody in the long run, as poorer countries will be bled totally dry and will become unable to produce anything.”

-Chris (thinkexist.com)

Sorry, don't have time to find anymore. I'm sure someone else is of greater help :P
