I thought they already had a thread. and yes they are amazing ;D

They have some good stuff, but their style can get a bit monotonous after a while.

 

If they just released EP's i'd probably be a bigger fan.

im a massive fan of their second album, ive been listening to it almost daily now. but i cant buy into their first album. theyve made a bit of a transition between the two which i guess is interesting.

I heard them for the first time today on a mixtape. I'm not sure if they're my type of music yet.

i couldnt stand crystal castles the first few times i listened to them. but after a little while, it just clicked for me. havent looked back since

They're a long time favorite of mine, and I couldn't find the other thread either.

 

Anyway, I will see them live (for the first time) in some weeks!!! I'm excited.

haha enjoy the show!!! i've heard things get pretty crazy during their shows. quite a few have been shut down by the cops. i know Alice Glass spends most of the show crowd surfing.

its really really harsh on the ears the first few times. but aside from the last 2 or 3 tracks on the album i absolutely love the madness and psychotic mess that it is.

I think their first album is the best.

I almost died! of suffocation and flattening. I was fearing for my life when Baptism was being played. For a moment I felt like in the love parade. :bigcry:

It was a bad idea to stand so close to the stage where Alice was just "crowd surfing" and everyone was just crazy... But after I retired a little, everything was okay. My ears are still buzzing though.

Still a fcking great concert. Alice was great! I danced a lot.

I think I saw their album at the CD store today. I know it's not exactly a big deal because perhaps you guys can find it easily at where you live, but this CD store I go to does not even have Radiohead's Kid A.
