I have been thinking there was no Belle and Sebastian thread for so long so finally I did a search and found not only 1 but 4!!! Yay! They are an old favourite of mine. Before Coldplay they were my favourite band and still hold a very special place in my heart. Who else is into them? :)

^ Agreed!! They were in Australia last year but I couldn't see them, I think it was over 18s or something. Which is quite stupid because I started getting into them when I was 10 years old! Perfect music for children me thinks. They have countless good songs, I can't even choose a favorite.

Yep you should, all their albums are brilliant. Their first album Tigermilk has some really beautiful acoustic songs on it.

I also rec. the song 'sleep the clock around' off of 'the boy with the arab strap'. If you like one of their songs you'll probably like them all...but sleep the clock around is a personal fave alongside 'get me away I'm dying' and 'electronic renaissance'.
