Five New Zealanders and four tourists were killed in the plane crash. The four tourists were an Australian, a German, a Brit and an Irishman.

 

Due to the Christchurch earthquake, the bodies were flown to Auckland in the North Island.

My grandpa was born and raised there. Very, very sad stuff.
