OK, I got ZoneAlarm Free Firewall, and I am really happy with it. I like that it is easy to use and works with my antivirus software.

 

I am thinking up upgrading to ZoneAlarm Pro firewall which also comes with identity theft and anti-spyware protection for $30 usd.

 

I really like zonealarm, do you think the Pro is a good value?

 

How good is their identity theft protection?

Wouldn't know but I've heard good things about ZoneAlarm.

 

Erm, wouldn't your antivirus cover anti-spyware tho?

If you're careful which websites you put your personal details into (internet banking for example) and avoid phishing websites by typing in the URLs rather than rely on email links, bookmarks etc, you shouldn't need to spend money on internet theft protection. That said, if you're still not confident that someone is not out to get you then Zonealarm will be only too willing to take your cash. But don't expect them to fight your corner should you be accused by the authorities and internet police of doing things you don't even remember doing! :)
