9/11 Conspiracy Theories!

Soo out of context.

Douche.

When has context ever mattered to Religion?

I'm not trying to change people's mind here. I don't care if people are religious. These are just my feelings on the matter.

I don't know the religion enough, but the way things are ruled here seems fine. Yeah, I've heard of that a Muslim woman was supposed to get caned for drinking beer, but in the end she was only sentenced to community service.

Muslims are quite nice people in general, not all of them are bad.

Undoubtedly there are nice normal moderate people of all faiths, but they help facilitate a twisted idealogy that affects peoples lives.

IMO Its high time we stopped giving religion a kind of hushed respect that is totally undeserved! Just because alot of people base their existence on religion doesnt mean a thing.

Now my thoughts on 9/11 are that is was a real terrorist act, any other thinking is absurd. Religion played a huge role in the attack but so did political reasons. Its important to remember that the terrorists did not see themselves as fundamentalists, but simply the most holy.

Undoubtedly there are nice normal moderate people of all faiths, but they help facilitate a twisted idealogy that affects peoples lives.

 We are all responsible for each other, I suppose.

I can't believe you are so nonchalant about this!

The fact that the women got punished at all for something so stupid in 2010 is beyond belief. Tell me do men in that country get punished for drinking however much.

Like Christopher Martin said the fact that there are some nice muslim people is not debatable, there are nice people in every religion, but than those nice people should speak up against the horrific practices that other members of their faith commit. A few weeks ago in Canada, a father killed his 13 year old daughter because she wouldn't come to pray when he called her, and yes they were muslim.

Very well put! That last part is so sickening, its also twisted that the father thought he was doing something righteous....and the moderates still insist that Islam is the religion of peace. Its enough to make you throw up things you forgot ever eating.

It's not that I don't care about the things that happened or happens, it's that I don't think Muslims should be stereotypically judged as 'bad people believing a bad religion' all because of that. You can't base everything on one thing or a few things.

I don't know about men. And I do disagree, but it's the law for the Muslims. We may look at it as unfair and so on, but it's their faith and if you don't approve of it, don't believe it then.

How do we know that they don't speak up? What say do they have? Can they control what everyone of the same faith do?

And before you call me nonchalant again, I do think that that act is terrible.

There are fanatics, no doubt, and they may do terrible things that spoil the name of their religion, doesn't mean everyone else of the same faith agrees to what they do.

Then again, we're entitled to our own opinions.

what if my faith lets me kill little babies, have sex with 3 year olds and treat women like slaves. You can't tell me not to do those things since they are my beliefs and if you don't like them, then you can just ignore them.

I hope you see the flaw with this argument, what's wrong is wrong and you can't use the term "faith" to justify all your wrongdoings.

Damn it, all I'm trying to say is that I don't think they should be stereotypically labeled as bad people.

This "argument" is getting stupid. But I never said they were all bad people, I just think that we have every right to criticize someones religion or faith, and they can't use the word faith to get away with horrible crimes.

Okay. I see your point, and I do agree with it. I hope that you see that all I'm trying to say is stated in my previous post before this.

quran is a book, can you take a quotation out of a book and talk abt the book and ppl who believe it and also understand what the whole book or chapter was trying to say:nice:

and as for stoning of women, hello that only happens in countries whr the governments are misusing the religion  and tell me that women in england get the same pay as their male colleagues:P

is this thread abt muslims and how bad islam is or 9/11 :laugh3:

i believe 9/11 was an inside job as it as only helped armies and corporations around the world and i believe none of the world leaders were involved:nice:

They all seem to believe in every conspiracy, that alone makes me skeptical. They are biased to begin with which means they ignore evidence. A little off topic but there are actually people that think the earth is flat and that its a huge conspiracy, so theres a topic we will all agree on!

I am going to ignore the bit about Islam, because I am sick of talking about it.

and as for the 9/11 thing, did you read the website I posted on the first page, if you haven't can you please read it and then we can maturely discuss why you think 9/11 was an inside job. Because if you are going to say something so factually wrong, you have to have good reasons for doing so and you need to be able to discuss why you beleive what you believe.

The flat earth thing isn't even a conspiracy, it's just something a bunch of metally insane people believe, and I don't think those people should be taken seriously.

I didnt we said it at the same time!!!

great minds think alike :smug:

I think I need to recheck the meaning of conspiracy.
