I've heard nothing particularly negative about it, and it is a small European country filled with Belgians who have no negative stereotypes as far as I'm aware.

I fell in love with the country when I was there. I just like the people (the ones I've met and the ones I have talked to), I loooooooove how pretty it is, the beer is amazing (GO KRIEK!), the chocolate of course, the fries, the cultural events everywhere, but mostly I love the coutrny because of the city of Ghent. It is my favorite city in the world because it is so damn beautiful :wacky: It's just a great place to walk in and to talk to people, the little pubs, the people, the view, the different cathedrals/church, etc :wacky:

I think I am going to belguim one day very soon ! to some small town near the Dutch Border.

Beer, chocolate, waffels...
