DINOSAURS!!!!!

Featured Replies

yes finally something we disagree on :D

it is possible to bring back once extinct animals, they brought back an animal that went extinct a few hundred years ago!

BUT, Dino's lived a long time ago and we don't have living DNA to replicate it, we can't use bones and fossils that are more than 65 million years old.

Currently its not possible, but in the future, providing we found an adequate sample of mosquito blood trapped in amber, then its not entirely out of the question. I'm not saying its easy but one day I think theres a real chance of it happening.

Funnily enough I was watching a R. Dawkins video earlier where he interviewed a chemistry biologist and they both concurred that it could be possible. I'm trying to find it again but i cant remember how I found it on Youtube.

I know it is scientifically posible, but the possibilty of us finding living DNA of a creature that lived 65 million years ago is near impossible. But yes, if they do find living DNA it is entirely possible to bring back the Dino's!

So Aashka, what you're really saying is.....you agree with me!:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:

Just teasing, but yeh it's a long shot, no doubt about it, but I recently saw somebody found like 100 species of ancient insect in amber if I recall correctly, so theres plenty of time to find one.
