Most Annoying TV Chef

Featured Replies

...Because we started talking about it in the Hot Girls thread and that should really be left for just posting Hot Girls.

I'll make a poll when we have names.

Nigella Lawson.

She irritates me, I hate the end of her show when she "sneaks" food from the fridge in the middle of the night.

Just no.

I Don't really watch Cooking shows but I Find Jamie Oliver annoying and Gordon Ramsey annoying aswell sometimes

Ramsay. He only yells a lot, he's not even really cooking. :blank:

Hahaha! Yes that does also annoy me, like why exactly are you 'sneaking' it you freak?

There's only one I like and to be honest it's a complete mystery to myself why I like her: Rosemary Shrager.

Firstly, her voice is so incredibly annoying, she's over the top at times and very dramatic, but I still think she's very direct and doesn't talk shit, so many TV chefs are so pedantic and so self obsessed.

But as for the most annoying, there's one guy who somehow when even pictured with Jamie Oliver manages to look like the cock:

Aaron Craze! Yes you probably don't know who he is, and the only thing I know about him was this commercial for his show where he called his food 'rude boy cookin' (Holy fuck) and danced around to ska music with his 'mates'. Luckily his show was on one of those funny subscription channels (Yknow those channels that cost like £15 a month for things that you wouldn't even watch if it was free? Then they always end up shutting down after a few months what a surprise) so I've never had to watch it, but I just know I'd be annoyed.

Just LOOK at him:

But 99% of TV chefs do piss me off, not even the obvious ones, like who could actually like Ainsley Harriet? And Anthony Worral Thompson (sp?) is so bitter about Gordon Ramsey's success it's a surprise he hasn't jumped off a bridge by now.

Don't get me started about Jamie Oliver.

Are we talking about chefs specifically from the UK, or can I put my American input in here, too?

If they're a chef and they're on tv and they're annoying, I want to know about it!

oh I remembered him ^^^ I was like wtf is this!?

I love heston blumenthal's show, all his different feasts. They're so different and creative. Stuff you would never attempt.

^ I remember seeing him on "Never Mind the Buzzcocks." It's only because he happened to be on the episode that Josh Groban was on, but still. :wacky:

Anyway, I find Alton Brown from "Good Eats" to be godawful annoying. He tries way too hard to make things funny, and it fails big time. :blank:

Josh Groban was one of the best guests ever on that show  so awesome.

American tv chefs irritate me, it's seems over staged.

The intros round with Omid Djalili was spot on. :cheesy: I love Josh to death. NEW ALBUM OUT IN A LITTLE OVER A WEEK, OMG. :freak: /fangirl.

Depending on who you're talking about, that'd be pretty accurate.

What I hate about cooking shows is how at the end, the chefs try their own food that they just made and act like it's the most delicious thing on the face of the planet. I understand why, but really? It makes people look arrogant, I think, when they do that.

Sorry to go off on that tangent, but you made me think about it when talking about stuff being "staged."

And him telling people not to buy his cd for their mothers

Yes, most tv chefs come off as arrogant.

what I hate about the staging is when they have loads of people at their house and they're all "we have some friends over"

And then there's this scene at the end of random people eating their food.

"Sons and daughters of England..."

Oh yeah, definitely. Giada de Laurentiis is really bad about doing stuff like that.

Rachel Ray. Makes me want to rip my hair out when she laughs. And when she talks. :|

^ THANK YOU.

What I hate more is when she uses words like "yum-o" that are just stupid.

That, Emma, is Rachael Ray, who supposedly makes great meals in 30 minutes. :blank:

Oh, something else. Apparently Rachael Ray is a huge fan of anchovy paste.

Rachel Ray is a disgrace to chefs.

And she's so unbelievably annoying. :|

I'm having internet problems and have only downloaded half of it, but I'm scared that Rachel Ray is going to make me explode.

What's more confusing is that it seems to be a video pointing out how annoying she is, but all the people commenting love her, and a lot of them think shes hot? WTF AMERICANS?!
