That's cuz they have giant tapeworms in their bellies. :anxious:

 

It's a lack of protein in their system leading to their tissue expanding-there's nothing actually in those stomachs just gas (But gas isn't the reason it expanded). Tape worms would need something to live on.

stuffing is solid-ish and goes on the inside

dressing is stuff you can pour (like gravy) and goes on the outside.

If it's a bio teacher then I'd imagine I'm wrong, but then again I can't see how it would be tapeworms, parasites causing this isn't rare but not a tapeworm (Which makes me thin maybe your bio teacher is a bit of a douche and I'm not wrong).
